Here in Europe there was a BIG discussion on the Steam forums about the $1 = €1 price-rate: A game on Steam cost most of the time the same in Euro's as in Dollars. Most people in Europe are therefore waiting for games to go on sale before buying them. The prices in the UK however are comparable with those in the US so the mainland of Europe is like the chicken with the golden eggs for distributors. Some people have actually build websites to show the price differences, eg http://www.steamprices.com/eu at least STALKER is 120% cheaper here in Europe ;-)

The problem with the iPad is that most of us only have one, and you're competing with your girlfriend\wife\friend (or boyfriend\husband) about who is to hold it. In the end I always end up buying the games and my wife playing them because I somehow always end up playing on my PC. Best games she liked most : Tintin and Harry Potter 1-4. (definitely not Infinity Blade or Bastion)

Monte Cook will definitely be on board as the setting of Torment will be based upon his Kickstarted project that helped design this new torment world in the first place : http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1433901524/numenera-a-new-roleplaying-game-from-monte-cook?ref=live If you can make that many people make a pledge to your not yet imagined world, I suppose you can also make a game around it. So I pledged. Wildman had an image problem. I was something 'in between', and not really something that blew you away. Chris Taylor disappointed me in this although I will forever be a great admirer of his TA series.

Hi all. Well, been listening to IdleThumbs since this summer and listening it always driving to and back from work. Really enjoying the conversations although I'm missing my music now. Listened the last 30 episodes and now starting at the beginning when no new one is available. Really funny hearing them talk about Fallout 3 or Gears of War 2 as 'games to come out yet'.
