Just had to point out Dr Sanchez and Dr Dagless probably are an easter egg to the leads in the British faux 1980s tv comedy show Garth Marenghis Darkplace that aired in 2005. worse comes to worse Nintendo could make a free to play Pokemon MMO RPG. Everyone in the world would play that. Add TF2 style crates and unusual hats they would be financially sound for a millenia.

Calling first DLC "Mercenary Fightback"; the game will spawn Enemy NPCs at a taken base a la Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare DLC. You cant spawn to a base being attacked so you have to fast travel to a close enough base in a set time limit. if you dont get there in time they control the base and you get to take it back. i wonder how easy that is to implement with no new assetts? @SamMorris12 I have a GTX 680 16GB RAM and a i5 3570K, along with only SSD storage, on a Z77.

How short is Journey, regardless of the experience with other players, content how short is it? could i complete the main narrative in 5 hours saturday morning before i have to do stuff.

Kingdom Rush HD is the game i couldnt put down on my iPad. Its sort of like a single player DOTA. A Tower defense RTS would be an unkind description, Its so much fun, and very polished.

I know nintendo did most first party titles with 720p in mind with their textures at least. you see those videos of Mario Galaxy running on a pc emulator in High Def and man do they look good. Still, i know thats not what you meant.

But arent alot of games already produced with higher fidelity currently, and downsized/accomodated for consoles. How many games this year came out with a day-one free "Higher Resolution Texture Pack" on the PC. EDIT: Last year*

Balls, ive blown my strict gaming budget for this week. I cant spend anymore until monday... and its half price. Brkl from your comments i like alot of the stuff you play and why you play certain games and this looks right up my street, an indie Far Cry 3. Guess theyll get top dollar for there game which wont make enough to cover the cost of the engine they built from scratch to build Miasmata.

i love the freedom in GTA to pick up a heli in multiplayer - like Battlefield - and have a dogfight at night, above other people on the ground fighting whilst listening to The Doors and the world feel real though, full of NPCs and dynamic systems.

What about it's budget, it started officially in 2006? That's 6 years of development costs with no launch window in sight.
