The Red-Tail has the exact same markings as a rebel ship so maybe you can pretend you are rebelling against the rebels lol

The boarding drones in stage 2 really aren't a problem if you focus on getting the hull down quickly. I think sending the away team to the missile turret (again) is probably a better strategy because in the main ship you may have to deal with as many as 4 guys in that drone bay AND they have access to a medbay. Not saying its impossible but I've lost before by not taking that medbay out and trying to kill off the crew, it is fully upgraded and even 4 of your guys against their 1 in that medbay is a losing fight.

I did not like Atonement but I loved the movie. The book was very plodding and boring. Even the sex was boring to read somehow.

The trick is to open all of the doors the instant the teleport happens and then close the pilot and medbay doors and send your people in there before resuming play. If you do that the intruders won't have time to destroy anything they will have to run for the medbay if that's the closest system with air

got all the way to stage 3 of final boss and made extra sure to take out the teleporter but it can still do the crazy laser nonsense and teleport dudes no problem. So i died at around 20% left. Lasers do seem to be the way to go, that or 3 Ion Cannon II's will completely disable a ship

do you get more scrap for killing off the crew without destroying the ship?

All the unmanned ships look exactly the same for me I did teleport into one once only to see there was no air and got them out just before they asphyxiated

1. 80-100 usually, enough to buy the more expensive stuff should it be available 2. Maybe? You get attacked more often in a red sector but green sectors seem to have more of the "special event" stuff that can also get you scrap 3. The times I've beaten him I had fully upgraded shields and I focused everything on taking the drone system out (teleporter, ion cannons, missiles). The last run I made I played it too conservative and teleported to take out his missile launcher and the drones overwhelmed my shields, which is a pretty quick way to die 4. I beat the game maybe 70% of the times I've played on easy

my GOTY so far. I've beaten the game several times now but I still come back, I want to unlock all the ship layouts and discover all the little hidden gems...just last night I found a new crew member race with a special power. Amazing game.

I didn't read the book but I really enjoyed episode 1. I don't think characters have to be likable but a story should have at least some sympathetic characters or else I don't really care what happens to them (hello Walking Dead TV Show). Joffery (from Game of Thrones) is an example of an extremely unlikable character that I still enjoy because he's maybe not sympathetic but understandable/believable? Great discussion and the new intro/outro is really fantastic. Can't wait to hear what you thought of cloud atlas.

I was really slogging through this for awhile but after getting the Mine Key I feel much better about the game. I'm level 14 I think if anyone wants to play co-op, i'm electricblue on steam

I usually only stop if I don't immediately get the subtext of what is being said or the character references something that I do not immediately remember
