  1. Shantae HD Kickstarter!

Got to love a bit of controversy they've clearly got some quality artists working over there
  2. Shantae HD Kickstarter!

I checked reviews for previous shantae games and saw good things, so I backed at $15 There's some rumblings over on gaf that they've changed her skin colour. since its been pointed out she looks practically albino http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=669453&page=5

Oh dear, poor timing Shantae kickstarter, they must have been planning this for months. Might have been wise to wait until the mega man kickstarter finishes, I might pledge... http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236620800/shantae-half-genie-hero I backed them, why the hell not. I would definitely have not backed them if I hadn't backed mega man... Maybe there's something in that, other people might be in a platformer backing mood
  4. Keiji Inafune's Mighty No.9

I know right? They'd be stupid to make a WiiU version instead of a 3DS. I'm hoping for a PS4/Vita cross buy Also, since I backed this I've been racking my brain about a mega drive game where you play as a chicken in a space suit, what the hell was that called... found it. Alien soldier
  5. But no cyber tank tops with pull cord chicken noise? God damnit

Ah cool, they're moving the consoles stretch goal closer: (from the latest backer update) The Mighty Masses have spoken, and with one voice you shouted: CONSOLES! OK, well actually you shouted a few different console names, but we digress... The point is, you all made it perfectly clear you have a Mighty urge to play Mighty No. 9 on systems other than just your PC/Mac/Linux box! You want to experience this genre the way you remember: sitting on the floor, looking up at your 17" tube TV, Capri Sun at the…wait. OK, maybe not exactly as you remember it, but close enough: nice and comfy, on your couch, playing on your full TV setup. (Those of us not lucky enough to have a nice PC-to-TV setup, at least!) Of course, it's no surprise our backers would request Mighty No. 9 for console systems -- they are the traditional home for this genre, after all -- but what we weren't prepared for was the intense, consistent, all-consuming passion you did it with! We realized the other stretch goals we had planned would be more welcome after this overriding priority, where they wouldn’t pale so much in comparison. And that's why we’re happy to announce that, because of your feedback, we are officially pushing back the unannounced "???" goals in order to move the making-of documentary $250K closer, and yes -- the PS3/360/Wii U versions of the game $300K closer as well! As for the tiers that follow, we're currently revisiting our longer-term stretch goal plan based on this big change as well as other ideas we had (and of course, your feedback).

I've only played 9 and I only managed to kill like 2 or 3 bosses. Tell a lie a have also played a megaman game on the DS... And again I didn't really get very far :/ which is unlike me as I am an actual game genie
  8. That time Gabe Newell hacked my computer

Gabe Newell ate my lunch! I was really looking forward to that egg sandwich
  9. Biff is such a great movie bad guy, they should use him as the big bad in The Expendables 17 (or whatever number they're up to now)(I know it is actually 4) In fact Biff was so good he could spawn his own movie franchise, like Freddy vs Jason, Biff can face off against other classic movie bad guys. Biff vs The Predator Biff vs Principal Richard Vernon Biff vs Jafar Biff vs the stay puft marshmallow man Biff vs Fucking Zultar! (the arcade machine wizard from Big) (was he/it a bad guy? Um not really, this could be a spin off movie!)

About the touch pad, I watched an IGN video (don't worry I flogged myself afterwards) where they talk about its use in AssFlag. it's used to open and move/zoom the map and said it was super intuative http://uk.ign.com/videos/2013/09/01/why-assassins-creed-is-my-most-anticipated-next-gen-launch-game
  13. Project Godus: Don't believe his lies

They were asking for play testers today on twitter, their office is only about an hour up the road from me but I'm a massive lazy twat and this game has like no guns
  14. hey mcfly you bojo! Hover boards don't work on water. Unles you got POWer! My favourite stuff in the trilogy I've said it many times before and I'll say it again, I'd kill to have a cyber tank top with a chicken noise pull cord.

  16. Shelter

Looks nice, the thing that interests me about it is that it appears that your children are your 'lifes', what will happen if all your babies die? Game over?

  19. Keiji Inafune's Mighty No.9

We (i) really need it to reach the $2,500,000: PS3/X360/WIIU CONSOLE VERSIONS stretch goal, or else someones going to be getting a free PC code from me in the games give away thread. I'm hoping it'll surpass it so i can get a Vita version. This has got Vita written all over it
  20. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

You've got at least another 5 hours of tutorial left to go, seriously quit that shit! Play Mafia 2 from last month if you haven't yet, that game was great
  21. Keiji Inafune's Mighty No.9

Why Keiji Inafune turned to Kickstarter to make his Mega Man spiritual successor http://www.polygon.com/2013/9/1/4683178/keiji-inafune-kickstarter-mighty-no-9-mega-man-pax
  22. Movie/TV recommendations

Oh I quite liked it I'm a doctor not a torpedo technician LOL Actually wait now that I think about it :/ the film didn't make a lick of sense, didn't stop me from enjoying though, whiskey helped I couldn't help but feel that this Star Trek universe should be a high budget tv series
  23. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Splitter cell blacklist, I had taken a weeks hiatus from it and just turned it on today and I really can't be fucked. I'm just not interested enough to give the game the patients it requires, I could turn it back down to normal and just murder everyone to get through it, but there are hundreds of other better murder simulators on store shelfs, and to be perfectly honest i'm all murdered out.
  24. Keiji Inafune's Mighty No.9

Well, I'm not a PC gamer (don't have a PC to game) so being given the option of what platform you want the game on is why I took the plunge, even though the console ports are a stretch goal I don't think they'll have a problem reaching it. Ideally I'd want on PS4/PS Vita which will make a lot more sense come April 2015, fingers crossed. For example, if broken age offered the digital copy redeemable on iPad I would have been all over it, but they didn't, so I wasn't
