Turn based aliens strategy game (a la xcom) would be hot. Bring in the engineers as late game enemies. Don't know if you could flesh it out to a full retail game though?

So i guess missed out on the Dark Souls 2 beta, i've had it downloaded and ready to go for about 3 weeks now. But the game has only been available to play for a couple of 2-3 hours spot, the whole point of the beta it seems is to stress test the servers. But i've always been to busy watching strictly come dancing to sign in during the stress test so i've missed out. Kind of a shame as loading up to the title screen and hearing all the familiar menu sound effects got me pumped for some soul scavenging.

This time staring Ellen Ripleys daughter! i had a good laugh at that. Would make sense though to keep churning these alien games out, they'll easily make money no matter the quality. Although i do wonder if average Joe public felt burned by the last game and would hesitate picking up a new Alien game in 2014... Probably not, as this new one will be NEXT GEN and might just end up being the reason people fork out for a new console

I have no idea about release dates, all that's been said is that it's coming next year. Blow says it himself at the end of the video, so I guess it's a 'it's done when it's done'. Not sure if there is any console exclusivity on not. it's also coming out on iPad, but I would imagine that version would come later. Who knows Edit, oh it's actually written in the article which will make its debut exclusively on the PS4 sometime in the first half of next year.

Um, this first episode was good. It's like 6 months later so its a bit of a clean slate. Lots of new faces... To get eaten. I'd recommend jumping back in. It's pretty obvious they're going to have to evacuate the prison soon so it should be a bit more energetic this season In fact this programme constantly surprises me with how good it is, or maybe I just go in with low expectations. Tad angry in that video JP lost his security team in a tiny single storey base because they were off doing something unexpected, extrapolate that out over a larger base with multiple floors and you can rename the game spacebase mayhem. I'm not saying its impossible, but it's certainly unfeasible at this alpha stage.

I can't think of an alternative that wouldn't end up being a complete mess once the base hits a certain size. And they need to keep it touchscreen friendly for the possible/inevitable iPad port
