I played killzone for about an hour today. Bit of a cluster fuck. the first level is "open world", but what that actually means is that it is back track city, with enemies spawning in with no rhyme or reason. I've heard later in the game it turns in to a corridor shooter which I'd probably prefer. The open world doesn't work very well with the gameplay available here, It just made me think how great a game like dishonoured 2 is going to be.

Can't connect to PSN so it's pretty much useless, can't sync up my PSN account or download resogun. I'm stuck with killzone which I played for about 5 minutes then got shot during the bit where it teaches you how to duck and promptly turned it off. I've got ass flag as well but I don't really want to play anything until I'm on my PSN account. Bah Can't try out remote play either as it requires signing in Did Xbox have any issues with live on launch day?

It is actually pretty heavy, but I'm sure I'll be able to get it up the stairs and through the door

I watched The canyons a few days ago. It's like a poorly acted soap opera. A hell of a lot less sex then I was expecting (which wasn't the reason I was watching it thank you) Shot in LA, visually I found it a nice accompaniment to playing GTA V If you like film I'd say it is worth a watch. I do wonder if the whole thing was intentionally naff
