Listening to that video gamer video it doesn't sound super promising, sure it'll be worth a singular play-through for the atmosphere and what not but being stalked by an alien for 8-10 hours will probably start to wear a little thin. Hopefully there will be a hell of a lot more to this game then currently meets the eye Engineer. You know that shit will fuck you up

SOMA Came to mind (it actually popped up when I google outlast) but I was trying to think of an amnesia type game that you would consider a full retail priced game. Like £40 boxed console game. I don't think any exist? i don't know if this is intended to be a full boxed retail game (whatever that means) but if it is, there'll probably be some padding. Maybe I'm just being cynical in my old age, but there's no way that this game will end up having just one alien in it I'm pretty sure they announced when Outlast comes to PS4 it'll be a PS+ title

If the majority of the game will be running and hiding, I'd imagine the obvious story arc would have you stalking and attacking the alien in the end game :/ hopefully they'll do something a little more unexpected It would be fantastic if they introduce an Prometheus engineer in to the game at some point, hiding from that fucker would be far scarier than an alien

I hate how the primary depiction of drinking in video games is standing at a bar alone ordering shots. Who does that? Then after 3 you are fucked. When Shepard in mass effect want's to have a drink it should roll a short cutscenes of Shepard sitting down and enjoying a beverage with some crew mates, and the more times you do it the polite conversions with crew mates becomes arm wrestles and hugging and I LOVE YOU MAN finishing off with people passed out on the table and Shepard getting kicked out of the bar. That would be hugely entertaining and far more interesting than buy 3 drinks and screen goes blurry That GTA V section mentioned above was great. The slowmo shooting clowns/aliens not so much

if you time it right you can double jump on the same block to get a breather, but actually i don't remember that helping... i think you just have to do it over and over until you lose your mind, and in that beautiful moment when reality shatters all around you the sequence shall be revealed

i 100% it didn't realise there was an alternate ending, i can;t actually remember what the ending was.... you should quit if its causing you distress. baby The mega man disappearing blocks platforming segment and those last few chicken fighting rounds where intense. super challenging stuff, and actually i remember majorly frustrating

Sherlock ep2 was on last night and it was fucking hilarious. last ep in the series is next Sunday, i heard Moffat on the radio this morning having a mini interview (i think it was Moffat) anyway he said that the final episode is going to be a lot darker and serious. interesting titbit, Sherlocks parents in the last episode were Benedict Cumberbatch's real parents

Credits are rolling. Nice ending, I'd say its worth sticking it out for. The game had far too much alien bullshit that kinda ruined the second half of the game but I'm glad they ditched it all for the proper ending I'm going to try and take on some of the legendary ships and see how I get on
