I want well designed crafted levels of increasing challenge It works for the likes of xcom, because it's a war zone. But a buildings security.... Random? Obviously I'm thinking too literally about this and I'm forgetting that it's a video game meant to be played for fun Would Mark of the ninja have been better with randomly generated levels? Would gunpoint have been better with randomly generated levels? Give me a well designed, BESPOKE campaign and keep your random generation for score mode

So I saw this live last winter (I was too lazy/stupid to go watch the retinal circus so I missed out on the circus stuff) in a small/average size venue. I guess you really have to be there but when they played this song it was the most intense audio/visual experience I ever had and I remember I just stood there mouth agape in a trance. Magical, spiritual even. A crazed bald man screaming NEVER FEAR LOVE in you face, whilst giant screens blazed with majestic imagery (think the opposite of a clock work orange)

From that video you can get a pretty good impression of everything you'll be doing in the game. Doesn't really interest me, I'm sure it'll be fun but just feels like a call of duty expansion to me. False advertising! There was no saboteur chat Great cast, I really enjoyed it. I haven't played any of the games that are being talked about as I haven't had a home PC for like 7 years now which is something I really need to rectify, I've got a lot to catch up on when I get my steam box. I've experienced/lived almost all the reference points in gaming culture growing up. It's cool that when I listen to these podcasts the history is that we all started in the same place, playing doom and monkey island. I feel like I'm now missing the reference points for the future generations of games. Obviously gaming has shot off in a billion directions and I've missed MMOs, Lords Managements, handheld/mobile gaming but that's not really the type of gaming I'm interested in. I feel like I should be playing gone home because I feel like it's important to the type of games I'm interested in playing now and in the future.

So I've put this game to rest today. 97% completion :/ I did everything but all those pesky chests/fragments floating around on shitty little islands in the middle of no where... Was it worth it? Nope not really. Got some chevos for my trouble and a sweet ram boost special move for my boat (I shit you not). I just googled what you get for collecting all the animus fragments thinking there'd be some sweet Adam and Eve cutscenes or some shit..,. Nothing, you get no things! Anyway, overall I loved the game. I haven't done the conpletionist 'thing' since... We'll, since AC Botherhood probably. I should really go look at my stats because I most have murdered thousands
