Yeah my girlfriend mentioned this, she was probably reading the daily mail website. I watched a lengthy BBC news segment about it in which they didn't mention video games, thank god. It's tends to be more the bull shit print media

@JBoyega has got a verified twitter account and yet only 3500 followers, I though you had to get around 50,000 followers before twitter recognised you. THEY MUST HAVE KNOWN. watch his twitter followers sky rocket

I bet Max von Sydow will be playing obi wons ghost (actually I take this back, he's probably going to be an evil imperial general. Tarkins son innit) And Oscar Isaac and Daisy Ridley will be leia and Hans children Am I miss spelling all these Star Wars names
-
I can see Domhnall Gleeson being related to Obi Won, I was reading a rumour earlier that obi won got jiggy on tantooween and fathered some kids Andy Serkis will definitely be playing an alien, but I think he'd be wasted on the comic relief part. I'd image they'll have a lot more alien roles now with today's CGI. They're creating a new books series that are part of the new canon http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/04/25/new-star-wars-book-line-announced

I can't help but feel Adam Driver is going to be this trilogies goofy alien Wow I wonder if John Boyega will be the lead "Luke Skywalker" type role. Will people lose their shit about a black lead in Star Wars?

South Park the Stick of Truth If i was flicking through the channels and South Park came on i would think "Cool!" and watch it for 5 minutes and then turn over I started playing this game and it was just like a episode of South Park "Cool!" i played it for 2 hours, now i want to turn over Searching through cupboards and draws was tedious and i don't like having to use my brain during the combat. -

http://www.tvtechnology.com/prntarticle.aspx?articleid=203247 After my last post I got thinking about movement speed and what constrictions you can put on the player without upsetting them. Do you give the player the ability to sprint and jump everywhere like a lunatic, movement that everyone has come accusomed with in first person games and will notice their absence if missing. There will be a lot of people who's first action in firewatch will be attempting to jump off the top off the fire tower and plumiting to their death. What happens when you die in firewatch? Can you die in firewatch? I'm assuming not. I'm also assuming there'll be no jump button, its not needed, real people don't jump that often. I know you guys are aiming to have Henry act and react in a realistic way when speaking on the walkytalky. But how do you make the player move around the environment in a realistic way without placing too many restriction on the speed of their movement, (we all hated having to walk Marcus fenix whilist the next level loaded). I think a sprint button is an absolute must, restricted by a hidden short stamina meter. but how do you stop people abusing it? Then genius struck! If the player is making Henry sprint over some rough dangerous terrain that any real person has no right running over, make Henry trip and twist his ankle, giving out a groan and saying "running here was a stupid idea, I need to be more careful" then take away the ability to sprint for 5 minutes whilist Henry moves around with a bit of a limp you can have that one for free x If the player wants to sprint down the stairs of the firewatch tower, let them, but there will be a 1/5 chance that they'll trip and end up in a heap at the bottom. Oh wow that's beautiful, at a glance I thought it was concept art those texture and lighting are very pretty. Can the next blog post be about the hands. I wanna see some Henry hands! Does he have hairy fore arms? Does he sport a wrist watch? Is he partial missing any fingers that he covers up with a thimble? Also on a more serious note, are you thinking about celebrity talent for the voices? Do you guys already have someone signed on? Is it elijah wood? -

Hearthstone: Because what Magic really needed was F2P mechanics

Ultra SF4 comes out in June sometime and Evo starts on July 11th. Having just one month to learn the game seems a bit crazy, but it'll probably make for a really exciting tournament. Can't wait -

Played a couple more games earlier, got my ass handed to me. Realised this games not for me and made me want to start playing street fighter again properly. God I hope it coming out on ps4, I'll buy myself a phat new fight stick and lock myself away for the summer I'm just going to say it. Hearthstone is a poor mans street fighter -
Oh wow! That was what he is sayin. Thank you, you have enriched my life

uuuuuumm i don't know really. i can't really wholeheartedly recommend it. Its a mild improvement over the last instalment so if you liked that.... you'd probably be pleasantly surprised if you go in with low expectations and still get bored around the 30% completion mark, but its doesn't overly outstay its welcome. Here's your box quote: Its not a considerably long game

More detail... oh boy. here goes Lets get one thing out of the way, the game is utterly utterly gorgeous. Super tight controls, it's fun and intuitive to move around the world. The action gameplay is fun Story wise, the acting and mo-cap in the cutscenes are fantastic. They establish a proper evil bitch of a baddy, really menacing, i actually cared that she was my adversary which gave meaning to my time with the game as i worked towards confronting her. Even more so, the dynamic between the protagonist and his brother was excellent, even though the story was goofy as fuck at times, the graphics (facial expressions, mo cap etc) and voice talent really drew me in. I was expecting a more serious tone after that E3 briefing. But, you actually play as a douche bag teenager which i didn't really appreciate and took a while to warm up to. The open world is fun for a few hours but gets tedious super quickly. Constantly repeating the same bullshit side missions over and over again... by that i mean murdering drug dealers for good karma. The Karma system is ridiculous, i can't believe anyone actually makes a choice depending on how they feel when confronted with one of the stories morality choices, you just pick good every time or it fucks with how you levels up. You are shackled to your 'good karma', which puts restrictions on having fun with the game. And worst of all, after playing an entirely 'good karma' playthrough, it doesn't even allow you to make the final moral decision. The final mission/end boss is presented to you as two missions which are locked to whether you are good or bad. 'Good karma' exposes the end boss to the public as a big meany. 'Bad Karma' murder the bitch. Now even though i had played nice for the whole game i really wanted to murder her, but it wouldn't let me (lets not forget i have murder about 1000 drug dealers leading up to this point) I wish the game was more serious and grounded. We've got the silly outlandish version of a superhero game with saints row. Whereas this is in some weird middle ground oh, and the feels. (end game spoilers) oh and the 'game' is a bit of a cluster fuck. You spend too much time with the only the first power so it starts to get a bit stale. Then they give you the neon power which makes traversal a breeze BUT renders all over powers an absolute chore to use. Oh and they give you the final 4th power during the end boss fight . The 3rd power doesn't make much sense, and you get forced to use it a lot towards the end which is kinda annoying
