Jamestown+ freakin rules. I'm currently 22nd, 48th and 57th on the leaderboards for the first three levels which I'm quite chuffed about I'm not doing to bad in the challenges either Althoooooooough, I feel like I've probably got as far as I can with it as in all the levels and challenges I haven't completed yet seem quite a bit beyond my skill set.

Not sure if this is worth checking out: http://www.vrideo.com My friend at work is attempting to film a VR experience, he's bought a go pro rig where the camera points at a shiny half globe which somehow manages to capture an entire 360 degree space

Idle Thumbs 202: Poopwater, New Mexico

Yeah I've at a few runs at the last level and haven't between it yet. I actually find the boss part easier than all the moving bullshit that happens during the level, can't say I'll be replaying that one much. The rest if the game is super fun though. The two new levels are really good and introduces all new enemy types. Watch me wreck shit (albeit on the normal difficulty)

No idea but it's the only bullet hell shump in ps4 so I grabbed it I think I remember people saying it was alright. No online co-op, could be a deal breaker for some peeps

Do you have made.com in America? http://www.made.com/sofas-and-armchairs ... Looks like it's European only. I think IKEA is a really good bet, stick with them

http://m.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/art/10281373/ Oh, lol didn't read Why go cheapo? This is something your'll theoretically be sitting on for multiple hours everyday for the next 5 years. Why get something cheap and uncomfortable. I'm not saying go crazy, just saying there's a few things in life that you shouldn't skimp on like a nice chair or a television. What I will suggest is go to IKEA and sit on stuff! That really helped us decide (we've got an ikea couch), you may sit on the couch you've linked to and find it's as hard as a board

Gone Home. Announced for PS4 like a year ago, where is it? Morpheus is gonna need games when it launches this Christmas. Bazinga Also, if fire watch isn't a VR compatible experience... AND isn't released shortly after the PC version on PS4 with Morpheus support, I'm going to boycott fire

I briefly used a oculus rift today I was pleased to find out they comfortably fit over my joe 90 style glasses. But a little dismayed that I actually felt a bit dizzy :/ It drummed up quite a lot of excitement in the office, men and woman of all ages wanting a go. Hilariously some women turned up with her 8 year old son especially to see it, then continued to have a go before her child :/ nice parenting. Anyway, I always thought VR was gonna blow up big, but witnessing it today? I'm thinking potential Nintendo wii + balance board big...? Oh, and fucking minecraft, in 18 months time the only way anyone will be playing minecraft is in VR. FACT.

Idle Thumbs 199: Bogost in the Shell
melmer replied to Chris's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
I'm playing The Order 1886. There's this bit i played last night where you Grapple down the side of an airship, the game gave you the smallest amount of control, first 'move stick to lower yourself', hilariously the next control tip was 'use R to look around', it might as well have said "Use R to admire our work". And admire it I did, looking down upon the beautifully rendered Victorian river Thames. Then i got to 'Press X' to jump when i got to the vertical abseiling bit. All the while thinking how restricted my move set was, i was literally just holding down a button whilst a cut scene played out before me and was acutely aware of it. It was then i realised my palms where sweating?!?!? The visuals were so gorgeously realised that even though i wasn't the least bit mental immersed my body still reacted to the on screen scenario games Then i got inside the airship, brief bit of chatter about how we couldn't tell who were rebels and who were just guards doing there job. Shortly after i was creeping up behind a guy, who more than likely wasn't a rebel and even if he was didn't deserve what was coming his way. Press X to gut like fish games SPOILERS! i'm only a few hours in so its more like speculations, but i'm always right so you can take this stuff as fact -

No bones, probably for the best, I have a nasty habit of pissing in wardrobes. I'll try and make the meet up, I'll be the guy with an entourage of velociraptors. (I'm totally not coming) I'm in gunwharf Saturday night. Gunwharf meet up wooo! ;P
