Nah, it was one of the guards upstairs finding an unconscious body, so I put them all to sleep just to be sure.

I'm a little annoyed at the moment. I'm on the masquerade ball mission, and every at the part is fine but two of the sisters, who completely freak out if they see me. I'm thinking its probably because I signed the guest book. Assissin school boy error. I'm going to have to load up an earlier save, which sucks as I had stolen ever single valuable in the house

I failed my driving test 5 times Driving with the hand brake on was my best fail

Just installing on my Xbox, 38% this disk is either scratched or dirty... What the dick I feel like the story in mass effect is to pre loaded. Your tasked with saving the galaxy in charge of a whole crew of people that look up and respect you, I can't justify acting like as arse hat. Where as, make me a lone wolf mercenary with amnesia and I have a completely clean slate
  5. Bioshock ∞ - New trailer 21 Oct

The Facebook countdown is purely a mechanism to gainer more Facebook likes, free publicity innit. When the trailer goes live it'll be all over everywheres

I think i'll just play on Hard, i don't want my first experience of the game to be a frustrating one Also, i'm not the most patient person when it comes to stealth games, so probably for the best i've run through half life 2 and the like to enjoy the same experience multiple times, but I've never been the person to ever replay a game to have a 'different experience' or seek out alternate story paths. My in game decisions are always made with my gut instinct and i'm normally kinda boring in that respect and always play the nice guy. It just wouldn't feel natural to replay a game and choose the evil path just for evils sake. Although i blame my boring good guy play throughs on past games making decisions so blatantly 'good' or 'Evil' (thinking back to games like KOTOR - this man has been caught stealing, will you forgive him of execute him / would you like jedi points or sith points) I really enjoyed the decision making presented in the Witcher 2 as quite often your choices would have unforeseen consequences, that you weren't in control of the world, you are just playing a part in it

you ploughing taffer So i'm going to start this over the weekend, may even be able to get an hour in before i'm off on the piss tonight Are many of you playing it on the hardest difficulty? and would you recommend i play at the highest difficulty? (i still want to have fun with the game) I normally play fps on 'hard'
  8. Bioshock ∞ - New trailer 21 Oct

http://www.wired.com/images_blogs/gamelife/2012/04/revenge.jpg If the game does end up having playable areas from more current or modern times, I can't see how they can avoid not showing them if they want to get the 'dude bro' demographic on board I think this trailer might be a kind of re-reveal. Irrationals way of saying "oh you think you know about infinite..." Then BAM WTF holy shit melt my mind. Or it could just be a damp squid
  9. Bioshock ∞ - New trailer 21 Oct

Show me shooting, sky railing, fighting off against those heavy hitters, show me a couple new tonic/powers, show me Elizabeth conjuring shit into existence to help fight off baddies, as we've already seen all this stuff But please don't show me any of the story or too much time/dimension jumping. Although i don't think they'll be able to resist if it is as bigger a part of the game as i hope it might be. I don't know how i'll feel if they slip in a half second of a laser gun being fired in the year 2130
  10. Bioshock ∞ - New trailer 21 Oct

I know what you mean, when i saw it i found it a little cringe worthy, but i guess thats what you have to do these days to compete with the big boys
  11. BioShock Infinite

yeah i just started i new thread, i didn't realise that this one was about infinite Perhaps all the marketing just got pushed back 5 months when the game slipped from oct to feb 2013 I wonder if this game will get the full works with TV spots and cinema trailers and what not An early Demo a few weeks before release would do wonders That original Bioshock demo must have sold alot of people on the game, easily the best demo i've played
  12. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I don't think i'll ever return to Demon Souls, i'm not stuck so much. Just reached a really unfun level, and i feel pretty underpowered compared to my enemies... I'm in a library, and there was a dragon with no scales i think, and all the enemies are covered in ice or crystal (can't figure out how to add spoiler, so instead i'll put it in comic sans) A similar thing happened during Dark souls, where i gave up then a couple of months latter i restarted and for the first time learned the joy of summoning helpers (i had played it completely solo up until that point) The game transformed into an arcade beatem up, where me and two buddies were just tearing around the levels fucking shit up in style then I literally sat and watched as my two helpers just took the end boss apart...good times
  13. Bret Easton Ellis

I read American Psycho years ago, i enjoyed it. The constant descriptions of what people were wearing and such like got slightly frustrating but i understood the point of it hard bodies and red snapper pizzas And i really enjoyed the movie of The Informers, does that count
  14. Idle Thumbs on Facebook

yeah, its just little things i've picked up along the way i was in charge of this bad boy during the Olympics www.facebook.com/BritishSailingTeam And we kind of figured out, if you want your posts to get noticed if you have to make them look pretty, or else they'll just get completely ignored The Human mammal is a shallow creature

Another thing you could do is when you post your podcasts, post them as an image, Like this: Then you could 'highlight' each weeks podcast so it really stands out on your timeline People fucking love images on facebook, trust me, your'll find your'll get a lot more likes, a further reach. And maybe even some shares. Also, your'll get all your podcast images with links to the podcasts saved in the facebook image gallery, acting as a kind of archive Just call me the facebook wizard

  17. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I Quit Resident evil 6 after about 1 hour.... i started with Chris' campaign, which probably gives the worst first impression as its the 'gears of war' rip off campaign, where armed zombies are shooting at you so you have to use cover Now to snap into lower/waist high cover you first need to be holding down the aim button then press A But i was playing with a sniper rifle....so to snap into cover i first have to look down my scope then press a to duck into it Then whilst in cover, the game defocuses the background, so all the enemies i could see perfectly fine before i went into cover are now a blur fuck that, i later died twice both time because of the horrendous camera, so i switched off I'd loved to see the achievement stats of all the people that only bothered to complete the tutorial level after watching some videos of the mercenaries mode i got a feeling i was "playing it wrong", and once i learned all the stupid unintuitive methods to dispatching zombies (namely, the flying suplexes...but why would that lady wrap her bare legs around the head of a biting zombie) i'd have a better time with the game
  18. Dishonored - or - GIFs By Breckon

4 hours! Cool, I can blaze through it before xcom. But seriously, playing the game on normal in an aggressive fashion killing everyone with those super power I would imagine you could get through it pretty quickly Just ramp up the difficulty and take you time with it
  19. Resident Evil 6: President Evil

Played about an hour of it, died twice both through a combination of the unintuitive controls and bad camera. I'm sending it back tomorrow (rental) I just feel like the game would be a frustrating awkward slog.
  20. Sleeping Dogs

I'M SON ON YEE MUTHA FUCKA
  21. Sleeping Dogs

We went on holiday to hong kong in may and it was kinda the main reason I wanted to play the game, to re visit locations and such like in game But the game doesn't really recreate any area of Hong Kong. Don't get me wrong it's a fun video game city but its not Hong Kong. locations like Victoria peak is absolutely nothing like real life, bit of a let down. They could at least got the harbour and the hong king ferrys in. (Does the game have ferrys, I haven't noticed) Maybe they got the skyline right, but the camera never let's you look up that high Sleeping dog can't look up
  22. Resident Evil 6: President Evil

So, anyone looking forward to this? I finally played a bit of the demo a couple of days ago and didn't mind it. My only gripe was that the camera was i little frustrating, but its the type of thing you get used to after a couple of hours of play I doubt i'll play through all of it, dare i say it, its seem like to much content for a silly action game. i think there is 4 x 8 hour campaigns or something The multiplayer/horde modes could be fun
  23. Sleeping Dogs

I doubt i'll finish this game now, not sure how far through i am (Just did the wedding mission) but its all starting to feel a bit samey. I've done a hell of a lot of side mission stuff perhaps that's way i'm getting a little bored. Maybe if i just focused on the main story i'll get a bit more variety in missions.....but i can't do that, i'm obsessed with doing all the little side missions and then i just get burnt out, this happens alot for me with these type of games Can't say i really care about the story, and the lock box/security cam mini games are really starting to grate on me. If i get Resident evil 6 on Tuesday, this game will probably never see the light of day again
  24. GTA V

I was playing sleeping dogs last night. The street races and just generally speeding around the streets weaving in and out of traffic is really fun, but crashing at high speed has no consequence i'd love it if GTA V gave a more realistic approach to crashing, the cars should become right offs and when you exit the vehicle with next to no life you should stubble around in 'drunken mode' trying to navigate your way out of on coming traffic obviously they have to balance it right, as the game could get very tedious if you're constantly stuck without a car, but i think driving fast would be more exciting if there was a higher risk involved
  25. I think sine mora is completely non linear, there's time travel, multiple characters/stories and I think the chapters are non sequential
