  1. Assassin's Creed: Mohawk

Really cut scene heavy, just let me play the damn game! And bad tutorials.twice during little tutorial segments i've reloaded from the last checkpoint as i felt i'd hit a bug in the game. But i hadn't, it was just a really poorly implemented tutorial One locks you in position and asks you to shoot at a barrel, so i spend 5mins pointing my gun at a cart full of barrels pressing shoot with nothing happening, until i release you have to be pointing at the one singular barrel lying on the ground.... I'm not the only one And the other was parrying (little bit spoilery if you intend to play it)
  2. BioShock Infinite

quoting Chris from the other thread I can read between the lines...JETPACKS CONFIRMED!!!
  3. So this popped up on facebook yesterday, a count down to a new Bioshock Infinite trailer I might go 'media blackout' on this game from here on out, don't want any spoilers for the story, although i kinda trust Irrational to keep their cards close and not give to much away. I think (hope) the game has a hell of a lot more to it then just the floating city, i honestly don't see how that location alone could hold peoples interest for more than a few hours, especially considering the speed of traversal with the sky claw whatsit. I think that maybe 2/3 of this game will be played out in alternate dimensions/times Maybe the whole game is actual a dream of Elizabeth's and Booker is entering her dreams like in the film paprika "about a research psychologist who uses a device that permits therapists to help patients by entering their dreams." I'm probably getting way off base here, but for me that's the most exciting thing about this game...i haven't got a clue what its about or where its going to take me

  12. Disney buys Lucasfilm

He should use it to compensate all the entitled fan boys Imagine if they pay no attention what so ever to any of the extended universe... Imagine if Han and leia never have any youngling.... Imagine it!!!
  13. I've read the dark empire graphic novel also held in high regard... Also garbage Thrawn himself is really good in the books, he is this master tactiction empire general, and mara jades origin is quite interesting. The rest of it is weak sauce
  14. I did a little research when I was writing that post and actually I think the light/dark decision is based on where the majority of your force points were spent, if you we're running around shooting lighting out of your fingers and choking fools you'd get the bad ending I haven't read any of the extended universe stuff with katarn, might have to track some down. Although I have read the the thrawn trilogy and thought it was naff

  21. I watched a load of the jedi knight fmv's this morning. Nostalgia overload. I loved how it had a good and a bad ending, but instead of making it a choice right at the end of the game like Dues ex:HR or Bastion (save the world Yes/No blah blah) It made you choose a couple of levels before the end. And even though the game played exactly the same it felt completely different. One felt like a single man up against the odds to save the galaxy/avenge father, the other felt like a full on assault to hunt down the bad guy and steal his power. And it was the first game that i ever played where i applied my own rules, i did a play through where i only used the lightsaber and force powers. Role playing a jedi. The only other time i can think of when i have done this is recently playing through dishonoured, i refused to upgrade/use the rat swarm and whirlwind abilities as i felt they had no place existing in the game world Katarn was a boss!
  22. Idle Thumbs Shirts
