The Cave: Ron Gilbert's Double Fine Game (A Tim Schafer Production) (Not Double Fine Adventure)
melmer replied to Nappi's topic in Video Gaming
Going back to the cave, the game is asking for 2 additional characters to round up the roster to 9 Has double fine ever done DLC before? and why not. They've just made a freemium mobile game. And it's my understanding that this game went gold some time ago so they could've been working on dlc since nov. And who better than introducing Heroes from past adventure games like the psychonauts kid or brutal legends dude. How about the fucking Milkman (that would be amazing) -
They should release digital copies 2-3 months before retail copies. Ooosh I've just saved the industry.

I think player 1 uses the Wii U game pad whilst player 2 has to travel back in time and use a hoop and a stick -

The Cave: Ron Gilbert's Double Fine Game (A Tim Schafer Production) (Not Double Fine Adventure)

I think its like that James Bond thing, which ever one you grew up with is your favourite I've owned 1 and 2 multiple times over the years but have never managed to get more than an hour into them, in fact i'm amazed i made it through the tales episodes, they're all kinda boring oh man Monkey Island 4, i got stuck on some volcano/boulder puzzle. I remember there was a starbucks gag... um But 3 was fucking glorious!! apart from that fmv when Guybrush gets swallowed by a snake, it would crash my computer everytime -

I occasionally get wrist ache when i have a shit ton of work on (very rarely) i guess i should get myself one of these (Not suitable for life) Do you ever get it when you become acutely aware of your little finger when holding a mouse. it just kind of limply hangs there on the side, an unnecessary appendage, and if you start thinking about it, it starts feeling weird, it starts felling WRONG. How do i normally hold a mouse? does my little finger normally scrape along the mouse mat? etc OH SHIT, writing this has made my think about my finger GODDAMNIT

Yeah same here, and sniper and a shotgun seemed like a good mix. Then when i tried to defend my choice they were like "Yeah whatever DAN" I really liked dan, in fact I really enjoyed all the characters (apart from big bo who was like some weird sex pest caricature. I never knew how to respond to his questions, yeah, damn, shit?)

The only pressure sensitive button game I can think of is mgs2, when you arr hiding inside a locker and you press the button to look through the slots. If you pressed it hard snake would smash his face against the inside of the locker making noise and attracting guards. I though that was a nice little touch. It makes sense for a stealth or horror game making you input controls softly and carefully to remain silent in game when opening doors and stuff
