Yeah it's wired, you guys are missing some really obvious one from my point of view. Different people's gaming history's.
-
Definatly! We have now completed level 1 \o/ we didn't have 2 and 14
-
13 on level 1 is really difficult, we're really going to have to pool our efforts for that one
-
I know I went in expecting titles from the nes era and earlier. It's more like video game classics And on that note, for all the games I don't know I'm going to type in Greendog and see if I get lucky
-
Yeah i got 11/15 on level one but couldn't be bothered to type them in again You can type your answers in the box below on the site

RETRO VIDEO GAME MUSIC QUIZ http://www.empireonline.com/features/retro-video-game-music-quiz/ (you guys should get number 5) I'm stumped on number 13???? He's either taking the picture or on a plane to the playstation event, bioshock infinite HD innit
-
I'm glad I avoided story spoilers, I might actually get to play this some day
-
To think Chris, that could've been you standing uncomfortably close to your work colleagues holding a plastic champagne glass. If you feel left out you could always crack open some cheap Chardonnay and huddle up to the boyz in the idle thumbs office
-
You should be able to get on, GameStop is on the per-order listhttp://www.bioshockinfinite.com/pre-order/ This should help http://forums.2kgames.com/showthread.php?170866-Official-BioShock-Infinite-Industrial-Revolution-Information-Thread-and-F-A-Q

Infinite's gone gold. God I love pictures like this

Yeah I was thinking it'd work like journey I saw in the vidoc it had a menu screen where you could pick stuff like 'raid', so I guess you pick your mission type either with your friends or alone and they'll spawn you close another to other people for you to join up, or else you'll get plopped at the beginning of a level where someone else has already killed all the enemies. I'm guessing these will be 'a to b' levels and not open world arenas. maybe a bit of both The one thing I'm interested in is how will they treat friendly fire? maybe have a hardcore mode and try and capture some of that day z magic

The trailers aren't particularly spoilers plot wise. But I am ruining some of the locations/enemies for myself, it would've been nice seeing for the first time in game. That's it! I'm locking this shit down.

I should get in to mapping. My mapping experience began and finished with the half life 1 level editor, I was obsessed with recreating the facility level from goldeneye. Then when i started my 3d animation course and it became 'work', I quickly lost interest. (How the teenage brain works) Just have to buy a PC and I'm all set! Did you make that stuff in the article? It's really pretty!
-
I'm listening to all of it, this stuff is golden. He just said the Wii U version will be hands down the best version

Jim Sterling said the something similar in one of his articles i read earlier, how are we supposed to believe anything he says in the future? I feel lied to. I spoke to Pitchford about Aliens: Colonial Marines, and he talked to me about the game's "next generation lighting" and other awesome features. He promised things I never saw, he showed a room full of writers things that would never make it to the final product. At this stage, and after days of silence, it doesn't matter if Pitchford believed the words coming out of his mouth when he spoke them. That won't stop those of us he said them to feeling grossly misled. Personally, I feel embarrassed by the interview I conducted with him. One feels like a chump when they, in their enthusiasm for a game, publishes an optimistic interview with a guy whose words turn out to be little more than ash in the wind. Thanks to this interview, and indeed the entire Colonial Marines debacle, I've gone off the idea of previews entirely. I'm sticking to reviews, so I can have real code and be sure it's not some chicanery. To use an already overused Aliens quote -- it's the only way to be sure. The giant sphere is pretty cool, although i do question why build Earths last city directly under it... what happens if it decides to stop hovering above the surface and crash into it. Also no one is going to be getting a sun tan.
-
Definitely, I've probably had far more enjoyment just reading about the game then i would have playing it (although that actually goes for most games these days)
-
Latest trailers up. i should really go on a media blackout for this game. http://www.polygon.com/2013/2/19/4002884/bioshock-infinite-trailer-elizabeth-lamb-of-columbia

A number of Twitter accounts, which were only set up recently and seem spectacularly preoccupied with Gearbox and Gearbox products, are lavishing Pitchford with praise for Colonial Marines, and they are now the only people worthy of his time.
