No, it's a really well put together, we'll polished game. There's some really nice environments and set pieces, but.. All the psychological horror form the other games has gone (messages from dead wife etc) the terrible story is just played completely straight. They throw about a billion enemies at you in this game so all the tension and horror is gone, Isaac Clark has become just another video game space marine who can kill a 1000 space zombies without breaking a sweat Hopefully tomb raider won't be as bigger disappointment

Dead space 3: all 20 fucking hours of it. I've had mixed feeling about this game through out. But that final chapter has solidified this as the worst video game ever made. Not game play wise. Just video game bullshit and horrendous story. If you've got half hour spare I'd recommend checking it out on YouTube, it's exactly what Chris and jake were talking about on the podcast this week, upping the anti to an absolutely absurd degree

I really have no interest in this movie. Not for one second during the game did I think 'this'll make a great movie. The aesthetic, design are all perfect for what it is 'a game' not a movie. Which is strange as I'm reading neomancer at the moment (about a third into it) and all I'm thinking about is how great a cyberpunk movie could be, until I found out mark wahlberg is playing the lead character 'Case', booooooo

I think I'll grab it over the weekend. Ive heard you can play through it in 1-3 hours. The companion app is a mini encylopeia on the myths and creatures you encounter in the game, I've got it downloaded but I think I want to start the game first. I saw a kotaku article whilst doing research which said: It's one of most affecting trips your iPad can take you on. Don't let anyone spoil it for you. Play it yourself. http://kotaku.com/5985989/year-walks-trippy-vision-quest-might-be-the-most-ominous-ipad-adventure-ever-created So I'm gonna avoid reading anything about it

I'll be listening to this from a hospital bed tomorrow, drifting in and out of consciousness... nothing different there then. Not saying you guys are boring. But sometimes i really struggle keeping a firm grip on waking life whilst listening to the podcast. Its more a case of my mind starts to wander and before i know it i haven't paid any attention to the last ten minutes and i'm snoring like a bitch. I couldn't tell you who has the most soothing voice out of Jake and Sean

you should see in the footer text 'use mobile version' (next to the rss icon) but i find it easier to use the full site on my ipad

People should checkout 'the skin I live in' on Netflix. I watched it last year it's really good, the less you know about it the better. I was worried that it was going to be some torture porn horror film and I was a little scarred to watch it. But it wasn't at all. So if you're a wuss like me you can be save in the knowledge that its not horror.

Yeah I watched it at the cinema. I liked it. Fantastic little self contained movie. I think more super hero flicks should get this treatment.

I watched a bit of the original judge dredd last night, man that film is amazing! I've only probably watched it twice in my life, both a very long time ago, but somehow i have managed to internalise the entire script. I love how after screaming 'I don't break the law, I am the law'. Stallone spends the rest of the movie murdering policemen, he just guns them down without a blink of the eye. Even tosses around some wise cracks, like 'this is where you get off' before throwing a policeman to his death. I also love the bit where Chief Justice and dredd meet in the badlands , they look lovingly at each other and with a smile and a nod, say 'together again'... Instantly stabbed through the heart magical! And remember, all asian woman are scientists and baddies (and know Kung fu)

Yeah it's a pain in the arse to get the UK prices, just have to search for each game individually. I very almost bought GRID for £2.69 but had a flash back to driving over a finish line in reverse for an achievement and realised that i already fucking played the game 4 years ago : / Sales are dangerous I should actually avoid this sale as i've got a bit of a back log and a love film subscription so i'll be a bit silly splashing the cash. If KoF XIII turns up at 800 points or less i'll grab it but nothing else XBLA DEALS 5th March: Karateka = 400 (50% off)

I like my action films to be somewhat believable, or at least my Die Hard films. The point of die hard for me was always a real man pushed to the limits of what a real person could go through. As soon as John McClane start surfing on a jet fighter i projectile barf all over my television. Also see 'Salt' my god does that film spiral into shitsvile

Now that the PS4 has off screen play on vita and the NextBox will have smart glass, there's a possibility it could come to the other next gen consoles as a downloadable title (in an alternate dimension of course)

The review are out. It's good I'll be picking this up a launch http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=515720 Sounds like they've evolved the third person cover mechanic: Battle is as big a part of Tomb Raider as navigation, and that's a surprisingly good thing, because Crystal Dynamics has been able to create a most elegant combat system. When enemies are near, Lara transitions into a crouching stance, and will automatically take cover near convenient walls and boxes. While most game characters take cover with obtrusive -- and often unwanted -- snaps, Croft manages to flow naturally and simply from cover to combat to regular movement, in a way that never seems obnoxious or unnecessary. The game's contextual animation is superb, and seems know exactly the correct thing to do in any given situation. The karateka death character swapping is a mechanic that pops up in ZombiU. I was chatting to a friend about it at work the other day who was suitably impressed. You are given a character and you get to see what their face looks like and a mini bio for example a male retired cop. Then when you die you start back at the beginning of the level, this time for example as a female teacher. You then have to make your way back to where you died and fight the now zombified remains of your previous host to get back your sweet loot. neat Shame it's on the WiiU, it might as well have been created in another dimension
