i bought the splatters when it was dirt cheap several months back, the game melted my fucking brain
  4. My girlfriend was insanely good at Tetris on the DS, she would just sit there and systematically complete all 20 levels over and over again. I don't think she actually derived any pleasure from it. It was not quite that standard but it was pretty fucking special, I couldn't get past level 8. http://youtu.be/M-9wjbgWgJM Oops wrong video
  5. Books, books, books...

[referring to making balloon animals] Can you teach me to do that? Clown: Well, uh, since you're a beginner, why don't you practice the first step? Which is? Clown: Blow.
  6. Neptune's pride

  8. Flashback

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Flashback is back in 3D and HD. Updated for the new millennium by its original creator and rendered in 3D by the power of the unreal engine, a new generation of players can now experience a game that helped define sci-fi Action/Adventure games. Conrad is back to save humanity from an invasion of alien Morphs set on absorbing our minds and incorporating our species! Rolling and shooting, always ready for another fight, help Conrad save the world and his girlfriend. You'll find everything you always liked in this classic that set standards of the genre in the 90's, and brought up to speed with the 21st century technology and expectations. I never played flashback much back in the day. I remember not having a clue what the hell I was supposed to be doing. Wake up in jungle, get a train to city.... Get train back to jungle? Turn off game. #TeamAnotherWorld (remember that black lion monster beast thing chasing you at the beginning, fuck that was awesome, and sweeping another world slugs like a pro) For anyone who did play it, does that look markedly different? "improved"? I like how you are playing as Nathan Drake playing as Conrad Flasback. That's a nice touch for the modern era. I can't wait to start rolling and shooting!
  9. BioShock Infinite

When I saw that hummingbird I thought it was a glitch until I realised it was a hummingbird. I think hummingbirds can fly upside down - possibly fact (maybe)
  10. Flashback

  11. The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

I've been listening to Tyler, The Creator all day.... it's fucking brilliant. His lyrics/rhythms (whatever) remind me of when i was a psychotic teenager. Tyler, The Creator – Wolf
  12. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

i hope its more than just a farcry3 palette swap + jokes They will have missed a fucking trick if they haven't changed the heavy enemy's model to look like a terminator cyborg exoskeletons.. they wouldn't even need to change the AI behaviour, they just slowly walk towards you into
  13. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

dev interview from Rev3 i just read 8hr campaign... thats surprising to me i thought it would be shorter (hopefully it wont outstay its welcome)
  14. BioShock Infinite

How your meeting with Comstock should have gone
  15. Freemium is starting to hit consoles, this trailer came out today. it's a future I have never really imagined, how many console freemium games will we see at E3. I can already see the press conferences "...and it'll be free to play" If they're smart the next call of duty should be a multiplayer only Freemium title.
  16. BioShock Infinite

Irrational could have made an easy buck with DLC...
  17. BioShock Infinite

I came across a funny little bug
  18. I don't even know how much of the story i understood as as soon as the credits rolled I was already reading that story explanation thread on GAF. I think I had it, I don't remember feeling confused. Kinda wish I hadn't now as I killed all the time I may have had pondering instead of snapping straight to the Internets consensus view and understanding of what happened. The fucking hive mind. Why did that statue change at the beginning?
  19. Sean "I just wanted to give you a potato" story Something kinda similar happened to me during the walking dead, One button to fire a gun or loot a purse and one button to decide the fate of someone's life, you're kinda treading similar ground there bub
  20. There's something different about this episode that I can't quite place my finger on. This may seem a little strange but it sounds like there's less facial hair!?
  21. Dark Souls(Demon's Souls successor)

Meh, I didn't see anything particularly exciting. Although its probably a very different story when you are playing it. I'm glad they've added a torch. The torch was fantastic in tomb raider and I thought it would make a great addition to dark souls.
  22. The Last of Us

Ellie will blatantly be immune to the fungus and you'll need to get her/her blood somewhere to create a vaccine i'd be happily amazed if that isn't the story
  23. Thank You For Playing is the new gaming show headed up by ex-Inside Xbox host Dan Maher. The show was successfully funded on IndieGoGo and covers a wide range of topics from across the games industry with humour, insight and plenty of interesting discussions. Created by Explosive Alan Productions, the show’s website is rather genius. Each episode is like a level on a world map that you can unlock in an order. You can even save your progress as you go. http://www.vg247.com/2013/04/10/thank-you-for-playing-new-gaming-show-from-ex-inside-xbox-team-is-live-now/ Best viewed in chrome, website: http://thank-you-for-playing.com/
