I agree. Earth defense force for example is all the better when you completely cripple the frame rate by nuking 30 giant ants and 10 sky scrapers along with them.

Ascension suffers from that, great game (although it starts a little flat) but it doesn't add anything to the overall story. I'd still recommended picking it up It's a shame that the story has been spread so thin amongst the side games, as there's some great little moments in the psp games like when you meet Kratos' mother

Vita XL on the way... RUMOR: Japanese newspaper Tokyo Keizai reported a rumor that Sony is set to reveal a new PS Vita model in September before the Tokyo Game Show. The new model PCH-2000 will have a 6.3" display manufactured by Samsung (screen size of the current model is 5"), and the resolution will remain at 960 x 554 pixels. The amount of RAM will increase from 512MB to 1GB, to allow more programs to run in the background, the amount of RAM used by games will be unchanged (meaning games are still compatible between old and new models). Can't say I give a damn about EAs conference. SIMS 4 I'll no doubt play dragon age and Titan fall, I'm already sold on it, I don't need a boring ass stage demo. The special move inputs is half the fun/challenge of playing. And it opens up loads of short cuts for combos. For example Ryu can combo a crouching punch in to a dragon punch, and you can do this by just adding an extra button press during the dragon punch input. Dragon punch: towards, down, down towards diagonal + punch Dragon punch combo: towards, down + punch, down towards diagonal + punch When you learn this the game opens up massively

I've had an upgrade

There are fighters out there that have macros, some SNK ones like king of fighters 2002. You can record and map your combos to a single shoulder button press... But I believe this feature is disabled during multiplayer as its a massive cheat

Persona arena is a pretty great game for low-med level players. It lets you preform a 4 hit combo into super metered move by just pressing the x button 4 times, but it's balanced really well so it doesn't ever feel cheap. Would highly recommend for fighter fans
