I feel like that's a flight of fancy if that was something that actually occurred on the cast. I can only wish it was real!

There's a small sky parade in the first hour or so of bioshock infinite.

There is no fee to deploy a web build. -
Ok so this is amazing, when are we going to start MP'ing this? We should probably start tomorrow in all reality! And I just found the MP thread! http://www.idlethumbs.net/forums/topic/8573-monaco-whats-mine-is-yours-robbin-and-stalin/

To be fair he limited it to "on deviant art"

In this game you can ghost ride a jet. Ultimate success!

The community should bulk buy then. It's a good game, easily worth the basically $5 for splitting it.

Idle Forums Game Club 2 - Shadow of the Colossus edition

I feel like we should just set an end date. The schedule is clearly not the ideal way to do this. -
Actually the director of that movie said that he didn't even have it mapped out as meticulously as other people did. Apparently he was amazed at how well it stood up under that kind of scrutiny. From my understanding he doesn't even like to talk about that aspect of that movie very much. Then again I might not know shit. Strike that I for sure don't know shit.

I'm through 13 now. I have a note in evernote with general thoughts about the game I plan on organizing into something post able at some point. Where are we supposed to be at now? -
I think it was just them bolstering pre orders/beta testers.

Hyper Hexagon is some kind of cruel joke. I am working on hexagoner now. About 32 seconds in at my best. Super Hexagon is an awesome game to sort of just make time completely disappear. I'm not sure if that's a criticism or a compliment...
-
I beat the first "mode" of super hexagon while waiting for a train the other day. I just felt the need to tell someone about that...

I played about 20 hours of it in beta. I think there's a really entertaining, if not somewhat directionless feeling game in there. The game is really nothing like minecraft. I would say it shares more with terreria if anything. Even there i think the comparisons are thin. The "campaign" mode seems to have only gotten in sometime in the last few months. I played a few levels in and actually found that more fun then just playing the endless survival maps (which was what most of the beta period was). I'd surely recommend it for the $11.99 US pre release price. IDK if this deal is still going but you used to get 2 copies of the game as well.

Crytek Cevat Yerli: Graphics Are “60% Of The Game”

I actually really enjoy the idea of those suit modes. I never played the series outside of the first one. Sounds like I'm better for it. -

Sounds like something a company making money in the engine business would say! -
I never thought about that at all until you made that post... Also I found these this morning! This totally cements the audio design brilliance of this game to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=xVv19TCBifQ I can't figure out how youtube embedding works here... I have failed...

Idle Thumbs 101: Introduction to Video Games

I think it's funny that Bioshock Infinite's strange nihilism is the reason I liked and seems to be why everyone else hates it. -
The animations look amazing. These high animation priority games generally look incredible IMO. Unfortunately the nature of the mechanics lend themselves to a very small set of extremely high fidelity animations that the player becomes SUPER comfortable with. I've always had a personal issue with how "samey" it makes things feel after a while. However it's also what gives them the ability to have what I would consider "high fidelity" combat. You're becoming extremely familiar with the animation frames of your favorite weapon.

There a voxaphone where Lutece specifically talks about how the tumors from the fields aged Comstock. There is also a date of birth on one of the Comstock statues in the hall of Heroes that matches Bookers birth date. It's totally "baked in" to the earlier parts of the game.

I think they where always heading this way they where just keeping the zombies largely under wraps cause they hadn't finalized art and etc on them.

Idle Thumbs 100: King Chromin' For A Day
darthbator replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Did Bioshcok really create some "ludic language?". That game was famous for coining the term ludonarrative dissonance. Bioshock's 1 mechanical narrative is totally divergent from it's explicit story narrative. There are other reasons why it's great, but I don't think establishing some kind of "gameplay narration language" was one of them. -
I am totally cool with the strange fungal disease angle. That way you can have those crazy fungal environments with people basically welded into the environment by fungus. I just wish they didn't make such an overt zombie creature. I would have enjoyed it more as an environmental hazard I think? IDK I'm being pretty judgmental for something not out...

I also tried to shoot all those boys of silence dudes. I was not aware stealth was an option either. That would be basically the only section of the entire game that sneaking would be viable and they do nothing to encourage it other then limit weapons. I just thought they where making a melee/vigor area.
