  1. Thanks for taking everything too seriously I guess? Geez.
  2. I am literally SO MAD right now! Hilarious!
  3. Thanks for closing your mind and getting mad I guess?

The closest film to this game for me is . Spoiled because it gives some plot hints. Anyone who enjoyed this game should definitely watch that film.

In Stockholm I remember really liking this historic viking village area that they had. http://www.stockholmmuseum.com/museums/historic/birka-vikingastaden103.htm Looking at the Vasa is always hilarious and awesome (though if you've seen the Batavia this is basically more of the same) http://www.vasamuseet.se/en/ Overall it's one of those great european capitals that has been one forever and hence has a very nice historical centre.
  7. You're not thinking it through. There's enough moves in most fighters that you would need an entire keyboard to macro everything. Sno doesn't want to play a fighter with a keyboard.

    Another thing I loved:
  9. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

Also goddamn but the voice acting in this game is just off the charts. Patrick, I would definitely recommend playing through again. There's ana amzing amount of stuff that you will just smack your forehead at missing the first time.

That's a great post juv3nal; Given the spoilery speculation previously though that makes me hope the analogy ends at some point :/

You probably missed some story bits elmuerte - I was talking about him earlier in spoilers. All the story lines are finished to some extent if you pay enough attention. re: the missing hardware

Paint.NET let me do this also in like 5 seconds: (it's a <4 meg download by the way)
  15. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

I think you've got the wrong idea from that review to some extent. At least I am 100% comfortable in saying that Mrs. Wynne-Jones would love this game. There's a lot of wit, and charm.

Oh, duh, Oscar. I blame Roald Dahl. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Uncle_Oswald Who, me? Couldn't be!
  17. I would be interested in some examples of this 'organic fluidity' because I don't know what you mean.

If memory serves Elmuerte is kind of in our version of the Bible Belt.
  20. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

What a lovely experience. It's like a version of Dear Esther.
  21. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

Man, the good ol' Looking Glass code makes an appearance. Lovin' it.

If this is an ethical bridge too far, Paint.NET also has a fine levels tool: http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/Levels.html
  23. Upcoming books you want to read

Man, I could not resist diving right back into IJ once I finished it. It is by far the book that most rewards a second read-through of any that I know. Greg, I had the exact opposite reaction to GR: I enjoyed it less and less as I read more one it became clear that things were only going to be come weirder, more transgressive and less, well, funny (to me). The opening bits I found great fun.

There's a serial key on the Adobe download page itself. No shenanigans required. You do have to click through an agreement about being a photoshop owner, but that's more to cover their butts. Adobe has a long history of encouraging piracy/free versions for low-budget people because those tend to be students, who then grow up, get jobs at companies and only know how to use Photoshop hence soft-locking a large part of the market into using their software. This move seems to me to be consistent with that strategy. (it works fine)
