    This is the case.
  2. Diablo III

No interesting story, just: getting loot from drops is the main source of endorphins in these games, and already being decked out in great gear for a pittance from the AH removes that compulsion to play.
  3. LoL (League of Legends (Lords))

Extra hilarious to me is that that match was a predetermined onesided stomp.
  4. The Witcher Saga

I have the patience to wait for a proper translation or for my Polish to get good enough, whichever comes first
  5. The Witcher Saga

I just wish they'd get translated to English faster. My Polish is getting better but not to the point that I can read Sapkowki's excellent prose. He uses some very nice oldfashioned words. It took my wife half an hour to get me through two pages One of the coolest things to me about the short stories that introduced Geralt is that they're mostly retellings of fairytales.
  6. Life

Some of my friends use their powernet as LAN but it has some issues: when the dishwasher turns on the data is interrupted by the fluctuations its electromotor causes. Very annoying when streaming video from a server elsewhere in the house.
  7. Recommend me some good two-player co-ops! (Please!)

Either that or cassowary. (I love quoteless posts as the top of a page )
  8. GTA V

    Talk about racial profiling.

The dialogs can completely change the ending; there's enough difference that I recommend 2 playthroughs if you're interested in the story.
  10. Spelunky!

The gentle microphone breathing is super soothing. Berry nice.
  11. Yeah group B is basically EU kicking ass and taking names. It's pretty amazing. Gambit and Fnatic are doing great. It would be very cool to see Fnatic take worlds again. They've been the most consistently good team in League, I think.
  12. Return of the Steam Box!

    Interesting stuff, Joncole, thanks.
  13. html5 issues

Just to be clear, I guess your workaround is to disable hardware acceleration? http://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/1cj3f0/videos_on_vine_refuse_to_load_anybody_else/c9y40z6
  14. Best Playable Elderly Folk In Games?

Let's not forget Crusader Kings II here.
  15. Project Godus: Don't believe his lies

I love the looks, I'm not so sold on the gameplay, but I have reasonable hopes.
  16. That's outdated information as anyone who watched TI3 knows.
  17. Recommend me some good two-player co-ops! (Please!)

Oh yeah, Orcs Must Die 2 worked very well with my wife. We'd already played some WoW together though, so the control scheme was already familiar.
  18. Is anyone else keeping up with the LoL world championship going on right now? It's showing some fascinating tests of the styles and skill of the different regions. There's already some very interesting results. Dead favourite team SKT1 has already dropped a game, as did EU winners Fnatic and Lemondogs - but Gambit from (previously Moscow 5) which squeaked in by the skin of their teeth have absolutely crushed their opposition including the other main contender from Korea, Ozone. The only other team to go undefeated on day 1, OMG from China, has showed what chinese LoL is all about: roaming gank squads from second 1 that just aggress all over the place. I was not very interested in the beginning because my favourite team (Evil Geniuses, formerly CLG.EU) isn't participating, but the level of the competition is definitely getting me excited.

Do you dictate your posts or is this an autocorrect thing? I found the Outsider a bit jarring on the first playthrough as well, but I fell in love with the setting so much that I went and also checked out a lot of the stuff surrounding the game, such as the Tales from Dunwall videos ( http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/27/dishonoreds-complete-the-tales-from-dunwall/ ). From this and the speculation that the Outsider is actually I started to really appreciate how a satan-like figure mainly interested in creating chaos intersects nicely with the on the whole science/enlightenmentlike phase that the society of Dunwall is currently in. The two DLC (knife/brigmore) really add a lot to this in my mind.

Having played Zelda should make Monaco doable, and the game is hilarious if you like chaos.
