Well, I just bought a new one for what it's worth. It kind of felt like the thing to do when moving into our newly-bought house.

This has been my interpretation as well, for what it's worth.

Counterpoint; what I want: - less lethal shit, more fun sneaky stuff

I had to read The Cement Garden in high school. That fucked me up.

I think they're trying to associate with 'concealed carry'? That's hella manly.

Ah, nice. Much better than having to ask all the time.

Hearthstone: Because what Magic really needed was F2P mechanics
osmosisch replied to Problem Machine's topic in Video Gaming
I actually like that the game pushes back a little, it makes it feel more physical, and it's saved me from making some mistakes. -

This is precisely why I pretty much exclusively play arena. Limited is my favourite format in any CCG anyway. The big draw for Hearthstone for me was always the basically infinite access to an enjoyable limited format in a good client. -
The condorcam is so creepy now.

I've only played the first game to any extent, and read the books. From those, the humans, elves and dwarves are all racist against each other in various ways, with the humans being the ones currently in power and the non-humans confined mostly to ghettoes in the cities. It's kind of Dragon Agey.

Well, there's this which is pretty much a no-judge zone.

For what it's worth, I've seen exactly 1 person of colour in almost a decennium of regular travel there due to my marriage to a Pole. The "it's history!" argument actually probably works in the opposite way most people use it - I would be shocked if there weren't a lot more traces of foreign incursions before the Nazis and Soviets rampaged through. I don't think it's good that they made such a white game but I can definitely understand how it could happen just by having other things on their mind. It's always difficult to navigate between explanation and excuses in this sort of situation I think. It would behoove them to go on record to say something about their intentions in future. CD Projekt has generally shown themselves to be quite progressive in many ways so I'm crossing my fingers.

Demonstrably untrue. At least a third of the dozen most recent champions were undertuned if anything.- 1367 replies

Shoutout to Applecider for giving me a fascinating perspective on Sunset during the latest Justice Points. Playing from the point of a real housemaid would be more of a stealth game than many built for 'stealth' I guess, haha.

Hahaha, that's amazing. Thanks for brightening my day. You've got a lot of goodness coming to you if you keep on the path

The only cookbooks I find myself turning to frequently are those put out by the guys who run The Gate: http://thegaterestaurants.com/shop.php Amazingly imaginative, tasty and varied recipes that leave a ton of space for experimentation. Caveat: especially the non-easy one has some pretty involved recipes that aren't suitable to prepare when coming home off a workday. That said, I've got a solid enough grounding in the basics that I don't refer to cookbooks for daily use (mom used to be a chef so I got a lot of this growing up), so I'm not sure what to recommend if you're just starting out. I've heard good things about The Joy of Cooking? e: I just remembered about this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Great-Vegetarian-Australian-Womens-Weekly/dp/186396228X A lot more simple things that still worked out really nicely.

It's still janky/crashy as hell, for me at least, and holy moly is the progress towards unlocking new characters slow (trying to encourage the real money currency use I guess). That said, the core idea is still compelling enough for me to boot it up every so often. It's scratching the itch that WoW 5-mans used to scratch for me, though with a whole lot less polish.

If that was all that gamergate did I would have no problem with them. Don't buy games by people you find reprehensible and otherwise don't be a bother? Yes please.

Windows 10: "It wouldn't be right to call it Windows 9."
osmosisch replied to Urthman's topic in Idle Banter
Yeah, I really don't need *more* SSD space being taken up when I'm prefectly happy with 7. -
This is pretty much exactly why I haven't bought Offworld although it looks like it's very much my bag otherwise. Mr. Wardell crossed the won't support line for me quite some time ago. Sad too, I used to be a huge STardock fan since the Galciv 2 days.
