I remember reading quite a while ago that steam accounts with low ID numbers were desirable in the CS community because they proved you weren't a noob or whatever. Wonder if that's still a thing (or ever really was). Anyway I got my steam account for HL2 because I'm a True Gamer.

An alternate theory: With their last copy irreparably damaged in the mail years ago, Netflix algorithmically determined demand for the Crystal Skull had hit zero. It was observed that even people that had the movie in their queue always moved something in front of it when it bubbled to the top. The delay is due to engineers scrambling to send an intern out to buy a single new copy at Best Buy.

If it's not higher resolution, why even bother getting the 27" display? At 1080p/24" it's not like things are too small to read assuming you are using the thing at a desk. Only if you need to see things from far away does that monitor make sense to me...at normal distances it's just going to be more likely you can make out the individual pixels which is not what you want.

-Regarding the extra 120 pixels for x1200 displays, it's nice to have but I wouldn't consider losing it a dealbreaker. You say this is mainly for work, so ask yourself how important having the extra height is since there's a bit of a premium for that aspect ratio. -If your video card has DP out, and most do these days, then HDMI doesn't really matter. -The 27" monitors I've come across have always been 2560x1600. Because these are at a desk and we sit pretty close to them, the extra few inches feels pretty significant and the extra resolution is great. But I'll bet these will also be outside your budget. -Regarding response time, I've never noticed ghosting on my 2412 but this is maybe a bit subjective?

Crystal Skull is a bad movie. The mystery of the crystal skull could probably make a fine Indiana Jones movie, but the one that actually got made is not good. It's been too long for me to remember details, but I just remember there being lots of shitty gags, unnecessary callbacks, and things that didn't make sense either in the context of the narrative or the action sequences. I especially remember a sequence where a bunch of terrible CG monkeys decide Shia Lebouf is one of them because of his greaser hair and they then catch up to an ongoing car chase by swinging on vines (more terrible CG there) and all beating up the bad guys together. And don't forget everyone's favorite lead coated fridge. Speaking of insane narratives that involve aliens, Deus Ex is my BGOAT.

I think saves only get uploaded in rest mode and for whatever reason I've been completely powering off my system lately so the saves weren't uploaded. Lesson learned on that one I guess.

I was just playing Escape Goat 2 (pretty good!) on my PS4 and right as a finished a stage the game crashed. When I restarted it my save data was completely gone. Probably had the map 75% filled in or so. Just wanted to complain about that somewhere.

Don't forget that with a 4k monitor you'd be hard pressed to run anything at native resolution unless your PC is a monster. I've got this one and I like it pretty well. Don't know about the VESA mountable part though.
