I just finished this as well, and agree completely. I feel like there were more just random solutions as well. The Dark Souls 2... man what to say about this game. Maybe my most disappointing game of the year, still good combat and such but they lost all the atmosphere and pacing form DS and DeS. I took several month long breaks while playing, and this last session was just me dropping the side boss stuff i was gonna do and beating the final boss so i could just uninstall the game. I'll probably pick up the DLC in a steam sale at some point and go back to it but man.

Just to point it out though Monster hunter 4 ultimate should be dropping early next year, so if you are on the fence may be best to wait for that as it will have online play and such. Also if you are just thinking of getting a 3ds, I would wait, the new 3ds will likely be announced for US release soon.

Yeah, I'm already doing most of this. I have the both the double spit and the grill mask, but you should just be able to give a bunch of raw meat to someone and get steaks back. If i recall this was actually in an earlier game but was removed from 3U for some reason, along with the ore farm which should also really be there. And of course I'm hugging cobra (my poogie), I'm not a monster. I am still having fun with it, and I'm looking forward MH4U as well.

God help me i've started playing monster hunter... I've actually played a bit back on PSP, but that was at the behest of a friend and he had a bit of an attitude about losing in that game so i kinda got soured for a while. I'm playing 3U, and having a lot more fun this time around, although the trapping around the actual gameplay are STILL often really terrible, some stuff apparently got worse in the U version of 3 for some reason. There is altogether too much time wasting (grinding for drops, cooking meat, mining, etc.) that should be automated (and apparently some had been at some point). Really hoping 4U is better at the little things so i can enjoy the actual hunting more.

Thank you, at least something that came out this whole mess made me smile. That Logic bomb video was quite good as well. It's always nice to be reminded of how easily anyone can be swayed by good rhetoric, even though he had a disclaimer at the beginning of the segment i was totally onboard with his fake conspiracy video by the end.

a short clip from Perfect Hair Forever, that show has it's problems and i dont know if i could really go back to it, but i think this is pretty funny. Might be mostly nostalgia though. NSFW The whole show is a ludicrous parody of anime tropes, uncle grandpa (the man in the video) is the lecherous old wise man taken to the extreme.

My. God. The cognitive dissonance, confirmation bias, and persecution complexes required of that man (Boy?(literally or figuratively)) and plenty of users in those reddit comments are just astounding. It's especially sad to see people in the comments rightly point out how ridiculous he was being only to then follow that up with shit like "That's what the SJWs are trying to get you to do man! To makes us all look bad!" conspiracy nonsense. This whole ordeal has just made me really sad.

I'll second talon, it has a few things I don't care for, but on the whole it's really slick. RIP falcon pro. It's really sad that twitter decided to cripple third party clients, i get it from a purely business perspective but it's still shitty.

I went down a youtube hole of lego videos one day and totally saw one about the design of this thing, then proceeded to watch every lego designer video thing I could find. It was rather annoying because they don't just have them in a playlist on their channel. Here it is: Also strangely that video seems to be on another official LEGO channel with way less bullshit videos so it's way easier to navigate. FML. EDIT: that channel is missing a ton of the designer videos, it's like lego doesn't want me to watch their advertising

I'm getting back into Formula 1 this season. Motorsports are sports right? The last race at Bahrain was the most fun of the three races so far this season. It also produced this amazing image though it's a serious spoiler if you haven't watched the race yet! The new cars dictated by the new rules have made the a lot of the field a lot more interesting as teams are working out the kinks.

decided to start a new character with a starting class I have never used before. Went cleric to try out the faith stuff. Man nothing feels as good as going back in with all your experience, and just STOMPING the capra demon. That guy can F right off. Him and his dogs. That said, I'm down in the swamp now (skipped b-town #masterkey4lyfe) and I'm kinda losing steam, not really sure where to take this character. I've got Astora's straight sword +3, and I joined the sunbros so I have the lightning spear miracle. Not really sure where to go weapon and armor wise though, ASS (heh) is starting to feel a bit meh and just divining a claymore or something i have used a bunch before seems kinda boring. Anyway, anybody have any thoughts? Oh almost forgot, i had a run in with a helpful invader yesterday. He joined my game in darkroot basin just as i was killing the hydra, but i had already taken out havel as well so we were just kinda stuck in an empty fog gated area we just kinda ran around for a while not talking (dumb on my part, forgot about the recent player thing on GFWL i should have just told him.) until it became apparent what was going on. So he just used the shrug gesture, and did a running jump off a cliff. It was pretty awesome, gave me like 10k souls and some humanity.
