There's also a new screenshot of a boat. I's been so long since the last act I think I'm going to have to play through at least act III again to remind myself what actually happened. Not that I mind, this game is wonderful and I was looking for an excuse to play it again anyway.

BB is great fun for sure, and I don't want to imply he is a less fun version of singed, but he's really only similar enough to remind me of what I once had. I'm glad we are all on the same page on this.

Man, Singed is the one thing I miss most about LoL. Sometimes I wish I could just import him directly into Dota. I know people (myself included) like to give LoL a hard time for making all their lords clones of each other, but is there another character in LoL or really any LoMa that plays like that glorious goofball? You spend the entire game running in circles near enemy players and if they ever try to kill you you can just walk away and they can't even chase you. Seriously, if I remember right you spend 20% of the game tossing people into your team and the other 80% running around farting purple shit in the general vicinity of the enemy. It's hilarious, and it almost makes me want to install League again.

I almost never buy bombs hearts or keys from shops unless I need them immediately and I've otherwise cleared the floor. You're right that opening shops when you can't afford a major item is rarely useful, mostly because you'd rather save your keys for item rooms.

The thing that most bothers me about internet advertisements is the way that they've made websites slower. it feels like the faster the average connections speed gets the more unnecessary garbage every website tries to pack in to every page load. It's so rare to find a website that only loads the things I care about instead of one thing I care about and 7 things I will never click on that all have their own fame or run their own scripts or whatever.

The person who wrote that email about horror games should send that to idle weekend as well because I bet Danielle would have something interesting to say about that. It's a shame we lost the resident horror expert (aka, the resident evil) right before Halloween. This post may or may not have been an excuse to use that resident evil pun.

I'm with you on this, but I'm having a hard time putting my finger on why. I've been looking at the screenshots for a while and nothing much sticks out as obviously wrong. It seems that the backgrounds have some shading to them and the characters look flatter, but I don't remember if that was the case for the original game or not. Is it possible that the lack of visible pixels makes the flat colors look weirder?

That seems like it would be the case until you realize there is already a card (raid leader) that, for the same cost as Warsong Commander, gives +1 attack to all your minions, not just the ones with charge, and is neutral instead of warrior only. The only relative downside is that it has 2 health instead of 3, which is negligible. On top of that, Raid Leader is rarely played because it itself is almost always worse than Dire Wolf Alpha.

I find that video frustrating because while he does a good job explaining why the old version was problematic he doesn't at all address why the new version has to be so useless given that it no longer has the problematic mechanic.

My initial reaction to learning if the existence of artificial pumpkins is it's wrong and I hate it. My secondary reaction is that it does solve the problem of carved pumpkns only surviving a couple days but i still hate it. My opinions are bullshit though, since I also feel that way about people who draw faces on pumpkins with a marker (or use stickers I mean god damn). I'm also not a fan of when people do the super fancy thing where they cut to various depths to get that shading effect and I mean yeah it's impressive and I guess it looks pretty cool but I feel like it sidesteps the interest I limitations usually associated with the medium. So yeah, for some reason I have strong and extremely particular opinions regarding pumpkin carving. I have yet to meet someone who shares these opinions (because they are stupid opinions), but this is the hill I choose to die on. Cool pikachu though

Ok so that like is a 404 for me, which could mean any number of things. Maybe you posted the link wrong on accident. Maybe you posted a link to a page that doesn't exist to make people think frog fractions 2 is out. Maybe you posted a link to a page that did exist but was deleted in the 15 minutes between you posting it and me clicking it. Maybe you've secretly been the creator of Frog Fractions the whole time. It's Frog Fractions, there are no rules. What I choose to believe is that the creator of Frog Fractions 2 intentionally posted an important looking update on the kickstarter page and immediately deleted it just to see how people would react. This is 100% in the realm of possibility here.

Oh man, if you had something like that that was also a mouse would you be able to play an fps with one hand? Or play co-op with yourself? In theory, I mean. In practice that would be a nightmare.
