  1. PAX East 2013

It's settled then. We'll meet at the DF booth at or before 6pm on Friday. If anyone else would like to join us, now's the time to speak up so we know to wait for you. Judging by your handle, it looks like there will be at least two Asian people in Idle Thumbs swag so look out for that.
  2. PAX East 2013

When were we planning to meet? We could always meet at the DF booth just before the hall closes and then hang out until whatever it is.
  3. PAX East 2013

I'd be down for handling some wein too. I don't really have an opinion on bar/restaurant choice (and it's definitely something we can decide when we get there). As for initial meet-up location, I propose the DF/Capy booth (#992)? Does that make sense?
  4. PAX East 2013

There's an Irish pub called "M.J O'Connor's" (take a moment to bask in how incredibly, impressively Irish that name is) right outside the convention center, but I'm worried that it's too close and it'll be mobbed with PAXers. I'm thinking either Barlowe's (https://plus.google.com/112370270518431791480/about?gl=us&hl=en), Whiskey Priest (https://plus.google.com/114424780945587399083/about?gl=us&hl=en), or Legal Test Kitchen (https://plus.google.com/108679621104888815904/about?gl=us&hl=en). Who else is interested and where should we meet up? I'll be wearing Idle Thumbs gear on Friday, at least.
  5. PAX East 2013

I only recently moved to Boston not too long ago. I'll ask around for some good pub-by type places near the convention center.
  6. PAX East 2013

I will be at PAX as well. Is there a Thumbs meetup planned? Would love to have some drinks with you guys.
  7. Hey guys, I just created a Wikipedia article for Idle Thumbs. I'm admittedly a newbie Thumb (I only discovered the podcast just under a year ago) so perhaps you guys would be more familiar with the history of Old!Idle Thumbs and be more equipped to describe what it was like in that era. Also, thanks Rodi, for an enlightening article!
