I live in San Jose and have 4-5 friends who within the past couple of years have moved to SF and I don't bother visiting them ever.

I think that's just a general range indicator, though not 100%. I've never seen anything similar to the skill shot cone that League has, though I haven't looked for it. -
Wow. RAGE looks so gorgeous in all of those.

I played an hour of the first game a while ago and haven't gone back because I couldn't see what was supposed to be fun about it. It just seemed like a really obvious God of War clone, except I enjoyed God of War (though I only played the first one) and this I just found boring. I didn't even realize the game was supposed to have Zelda elements, maybe I'll go back at some point and play more, but probably not any time soon.

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I bought Cryostasis on sale a long time ago and quit after 15-20 minutes because it made me feel sick which never happens to me in games, ever. -
If that comes to America I will buy it instantly. I haven't felt compelled to buy a 3ds yet, but I would buy that day one.

PL buff seems too much. -
Oh... Well that character is never going to be the same for me again. I should have known something was up with him. He did join the USSR after all.
-
What's wrong with him? Kilowog has been in the comics since the 80's.

lol, only 20 tabs? Are you new to the internet or something? ...I've lost over 50 tabs before and almost cried. It was a dark day.

As long as as the game requires peripherals in order to play it, it'll be awesome. Preferably two different peripherals, to go along with the camera that watches you use them.

So with Black Mesa coming out I thought about it and realized I don't believe there is a thread dedicated to talking about mods for games (correct me if I'm wrong) even though they are pretty popular nowadays with things like DayZ and such. What are some mods you guys like? Do you usually delve into the modding side of games? Have you ever tried making a mod yourself? Personally I spend a lot of time with mods. I buy pretty much every Bethesda games only as a mod engine and the fact that there's a game that comes in the box too is just a bonus. Any game that has a mod scene I'll at least check in on every few months if I don't actually just follow it on a regular basis. I spend a fair amount of time on ModDB and a decent amount of time on the Nexus sites, though those are usually in small concentrated bursts. I'll pick up a game like Fallout 3 maybe a year after it's been released when I know there are a lot of good mods out and spend a few days just browsing stuff. I've recently been on a Total War mod spree, playing games of Third Age and Stainless Steel for Medieval 2, as well as finally trying DarthMod on Shogun 2, and I want to check out one called Hyrule Total War which looks funny. I also have a list of single player mods that I haven't gotten around to played yet. Besides Black Mesa there's the Stanley Parable for HL2 and Call of the Fireflies for Crysis which look interesting. There's a lot more stuff I could bring up that I think is cool, but I figured I'd get this thread started first and see what other people like.

What is Tobi's Tidehunter statue made out of? It looks like one of those paper models. -

I didn't have any trouble with it either, though I usually am good at solving puzzles in games, well puzzles in general. Other things give me trouble though, skill based platformers like SMB are pretty hard for me. I hate most all 2d platformers actually. -

So I checked and it's now officially been over a month since I last launched Dota 2 (school started so I've been busy), and the last time I launched the game I don't think I even played a game, so it's probably been longer. That being said I have a feeling the next patch is going to be awesome and am super psyched. -
The Jerk is my favorite Steve Martin movie ever, and one of my favorite movies ever.

Yeah so I started watching Mushishi after seeing it in this thread (two posts up) and it's great. I've only seen the first 8 or so episodes and so far each of them is a self contained story with (basically) no threads connecting them, I don't know if that changes later on, and I don't really care. It's so relaxing to watch, it's so different from anything I've seen before. I'd recommend everyone watch it, both the dub and the subbed versions are on Youtube (I'm personally watching the subbed version)

So I didn't really think about it until just now, but does this mean that Half Life is a free game at this point? I'm assuming most everyone owns it or has owned ti at some point, but for those that don't and have never played it, they can play this for free instead of spending 10$, correct?
