Was just about to post what SAM said about rooting ASAP. I've never gotten around to rooting my phone which I've had for a couple years because by the time I decided I wanted to do it I'd had my phone for a while and am too lazy to back everything up. I'm going to get a new phone soon (Galaxy S4 most likely) and it'll be the first thing I do with it.

I don't think game 1 is going to end any time soon. As far as I can tell we have what's known in space as a Mexican standoff.

For DotA in War3 people would put "noobs only" or "pros only" in the title of games but usually decent people would join noob games to just roll unskilled players and pro games usually meant whoever gave up first blood got vote kicked. I kind of miss those days (no I don't).

Holy shit, also the comments on that story are all making me angry at the world.

I played a lot of WC3 DotA, but it was pretty different back then, especially since apem was a probably the most popular mode. I never thought there was a shortage of people playing other customs though like mauls and hero arena type stuff.

All my experience with Unity has mostly been related to audio, but I liked working with it.

This patch is for TI3,as in its coming out now to mix up how the games are played (making the change to drafting by far the biggest change in the patch).

At least until Dota 2 receives parity with 6.78

I've been trying to read more Fables since I read the first 30 or so issues way back when, but haven't really kept up at all since then. The Telltale game has me excited and I'm starting to get into it again, but it's hard when everything else I'm reading is so much more serious (Scalped, 100 Bullets, and Criminal). A new issue of Chew came out yesterday, so maybe I'll take a break when I pick that up.

I think worst case scenario Kickstarter is still viable for small games and just not as popular for $1 mil+ games. Things like FTL have already been successful.

Steam says I have 402 games and there are 70 games which I have higher that 0.5 hours played. My list of "All Games" contains 244 items so I'm assuming thats real games and the 402 is counting all DLC as a separate item which means all the unit-packs for things like EU3 and other Paradox games are jacking the number up.

It's a space shooter game which if I remember correctly is set in the Battlestar Galactica universe. It's based on Freespace 2, but I don't think you need Freespace 2 to play it.

Have you played Diaspora? I've been meaning to try it myself as it looks really cool and I loved Freespace.

Big patches generally recieve parity with Dota 2 within a month and the bug fix patches (.b, .c, .d, ect.) usually are implemented the on the next week.

You forgot my #1 gal, Spectre. They're also making Legion Commander be a female, which I don't really like just because I'm so used to him being this dude with the big mustache going around dueling bros.

A lot of Telltale stuff was on sale over at GOG a few weeks back and I'd been regretting not picking anything up. This is perfect timing.

Necro seems super strong now in competitive games. I'm curious to see how that turns out. Edit:both new heroes seem cool. Edit:wow gem can never be destroyed.

I still haven't played Skyrim at all because every time I feel like playing a TES game I've gone back to Morrowind.

I'm still waiting for the Banner Saga to come out but this seems super cool so I'm backing.

Warcraft 3 If I had to separate WC3 proper from WC3 custom games each of those two things would still be my all time favorite game (well I guess they couldn't both be, but they would be #1 and #2)

I was just reading the thread for episode 99 where someone linked a video of pro CoD players yelling at each other. There were a couple comments about how it doesn't happen in Starcraft and Dota and I want people to rest assured that there is a seedy underbelly to the pro DotA scene. This is rOtk who is on DK. I hope he does this at TI3 (he wont).

I have four friends that worked at a Gamestop and from what I heard it's almost uncanny how realistic this is. Except for the part where they didn't get called into the backroom and fired for not selling the girl and EDGE card and a Gameinformer subscription.
