I got Batman and for some reason wasn't able to get X men because I kept thinking Y The Last Man, but mainly I didn't get if "to" was supposed to be "the" or if "like " was supposed to be "compared".

Oh how times have changed. Now Viper is a really common pick and in the next patch he's going to be insane. It's always funny how time changes things, like how when PL first got that agi gain buff noone thought it would do anything and then he had his period where he was super stupid and now he is still a common pick. Edit: I just realized that this might come across in a douchey told-you-so sort of tone which is totally not my intention, but rather to just say how weird some of the things that happen are. Like I never would have thought Tree would become a top tier support, he used to be considered such a joke, same with Alch. And I still refuse to believe that Spirit Breaker is as good as he is as a support.

Blacksad is super good, especially the art. I've been meaning to read Echo since I really liked Strangers in Paradise. Still trying to parse the bolded sentence, but I love Don Lawrence's art, it's so amazing.

This is kind of late but I think Roll20 is really popular. Anyways, so Ticket to Ride is part of the current Humble Android Bundle both on Android and Steam. Would anyone be interested in playing?

What would be the best way to internalize everything with this game? Basically my approach thus far has been to watch a couple tutorial videos on the game and then a couple of videos of games being played to build a foundation of knowledge on how the game actually works and then just sit down and go through all the cards on OCTGN and just read them all.

I'm starting to get into this, I was watching the stream for the most recent Pro Tour for Magic the Gathering which is this weekend and really felt like playing a card game so I downloaded OCTGN and Netrunner. So far I suck.

I'd be down to play some BL2, my friends played one day without me and then just kept on going.

I haven't even tried those out. As someone who was really into competitive Pokemon I go about playing the games kind of weird. Basically I think of it as two games, there's the first game which is everything up through the Elite Four, and then there's the "real" game. For the first part of the game I don't put any thought into what I do and just play for fun. I don't worry about training my Pokemon or trying to get the right moves for them or anything. Since they aren't going to be the right natures and aren't going to be EV trained I know I'm ditching them all post-E4 when I train a real team. I don't think about breeding at all and it's manifested in a kind of weird way in that when I'm just playing the game for fun I have a habit of only catching male Pokemon and when I'm playing to train a team I only catch female Pokemon (who can breed). It actually doesn't matter because I'll generally get a ditto of every nature and have them hold Everstones, meaning the gender of the other Pokemon can be either, but it's a habit I have. I usually just try and have a good spread of types going through the main game and then I'll have an HM slave (I already have a Bidoof for one in this game). This game seems like it has a lot more diversity of types early on (I caught Pansage, Panpour, and Pansear in the first forest as well as a Pikachu) which is cool.

Yeah I was going to say in my first post that controlling your person is kind of gross.
