I agree with this, so I guess I agree with your agreement.

Julian Gollop's Chaos Reborn Kickstarter has a "Wizard Lord" tier
TheLastBaron replied to Laco's topic in Video Gaming
I liked the Kickstarter, but I stopped reading the article when I saw the word "Video game". Edit: I can't post the word on the forum. -
Just saw The Grand Budapest Hotel. It has Jeff Goldblum and funiculars.

The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)
TheLastBaron replied to Wrestlevania's topic in Idle Banter
New La Dispute album is streaming, seems really good. -
Wow I'm in love with Columbo, but the more I watch it the more I fell like I need to start smoking cigars.

Garth Ennis is great. He's better than anyone else in the industry at making you care about characters and making their relationships feel believable. I'm curious to see how the Preacher show turns out as its one of my all time favorite comics (It's my favorite series Vertigo has ever put out).

Well I imagine he mostly did plotting for the games so it was probably Rocksteady.

Clear switches are basically stiffer browns.

Seeing that Paul Dini is not involved with this makes me sad.

There's a few versions of the evil type character, Owlman being the main one.

Based on what I've seen and also the fact that it's Cryptologic, I'm kind of wary of it.

Where to Find Game Assets (Audio/Textures/Models/Etc)
TheLastBaron replied to Dinosaursssssss's topic in Game Development
http://filmsound.org/sound-effects/libraries.htm has a list of a lot of good sites that have free audio files. -
Oh. My. God. I totally thought I had looked before but this was the problem. At the very bottom of the list I had clicked to only show items that I follow and I don't follow any. Thanks a ton, this is huge.

Pretty sure it requires the main game.

Has anyone tried the DLC? I saw that you can now save your game whenever which was the main reason I never tried the game when it first came out, so I might pick this up if it goes on sale in the summer now.
-
I was wondering how long it would be before that showed up.

It doesn't work for me anymore for some reason. On 3 different computers, a phone, and a tablet it always just shows nothing when I click it. I've gotten used to browsing the old fashioned way though.

Who are Your Favorite Video Game Reviewers/Critics?
TheLastBaron replied to TychoCelchuuu's topic in Video Gaming
I'll add another vote for Tom Chick, though I don't really read any reviews these days. -
Anyone in the Portland area going to Gamestorm?

I missed the posts in this thread about Skyrim and just walking around. I really wish some company would make a Hiking Simulator 2014 game. When people complained about Dear Esther not having any "game" to it I remember thinking how I would have loved it it it was just the game without any sort of story and marketed for people who want to walk around in the Hebrides.

My top 10 favorite N64 games would probably be in no order Zelda, Zelda, Diddy Kong Racing, Tony Hawk 2,DK 64, Goldeneye, Harvest Moon, Mario Party (any), Smash, SM64.

Hmm, reading that and also listening to the 3MA episode have made me less interesting in trying this out now. However I still am in the mood for a city builder so now I'm getting mad that Clockwork Empires isn't out yet.

If anyone reading this is interested in buying a mouse off of all the people who like the mx518 or the G5, there's a mouse that actually is the same as those (as opposed to the G 500 which is similar). It's the G400.

Is that the wireless one with the blue ball? If so I own it and it's great. I should have given it a mention in my previous post.
