  1. Hearthstone: Because what Magic really needed was F2P mechanics

That sounds really cool, I'm especially excited for a new board to play on.
  2. Movie/TV recommendations

Yeah this is what I'm thinking. It kind of makes me want Last Week Tonight to be bad. Does that make me a bad person?
  3. Cartoons!

I've been meaning to watch it for so long and always forget.
  4. Movie/TV recommendations

This is exactly how I feel. Have they said if he's going to be in character or not?
  5. The Wolf Among Us

Uh I can't really think of anything that would spoil anything, especially not early on.
  6. The Wolf Among Us

Yeah, if you like this then I would definitely check out the comic, at least for a trade or so. When I say I had enough of it and then stopped, I mean I read it for over 6 years.
  7. The Wolf Among Us

I'm playing it, but I haven't been playing each episode right when it's released. I'm really enjoying it, but I'm not in a super big hurry to play it as soon as I possibly can, probably in part because prior to this I had gotten to the point where I had read all the Fables I ever wanted to read and stopped.
  8. Captain America: The Winter Soldier

This is the exact opposite of Constantine and the fact that no one realized this made the movie super funny for me because it was such a bizarro take on the character. They took a snarky British con-man based on Sting and thought, let's change his name, make him American, and we can get Keanu Reeves. Also I agree with the Christian Bale as Batman sentiment. I can't stand him as Batman, to the point that I skipped the third movie just because of him. I liked The Dark Knight, but solely because of everyone who isn't Bruce Wayne. I really like Christian Bale too, just not here.
  9. San Francisco Residents!

    I think EMP is cool.
  10. Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I liked Constantine and also didn't like it solely because rather than a funny blonde British guy named Constantine they got a Keanu Reeves named ConstantEEn
  11. Captain America: The Winter Soldier

So I saw this and was actually pretty excited going in as this seems to be getting a lot of buzz, plus Captain America is probably my favorite Marvel character and the Ed Brubaker Winter Soldier issues. I actually ended up coming out pretty underwhelmed. It's a competent big budget action movie, but for me that was basically all it was. I guess I should have lowered my expectations given that I didn't care for Iron Man 1 or The Avengers at all (I didn't watch any of the other movies). It just kind of sucks given how much I loved the source material, but at least it's nice to see other people enjoying it and I'm sure my friends will like it. There seems to be some more good stuff coming out though, I'm excited for Guardians of the Galaxy, but for now Spiderman 2 is still my favorite superhero movie.
  12. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

Yeah it's kind of like their thing, they have another site for buying comics called discount comic book service, but I've never used it since single issues I pretty much only get digital.
  13. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

For anyone who has an interest in paper books, http://www.instocktrades.com/ has some pretty good sales for the month of April. All DC books are 45% off, all books from Archaia, BOOM!, and IDW are 38% off. I'll probably end up placing an order at the end of the month after the new deluxe hardcover of Daytripper comes out, but I imagine I'll be getting a lot more than just that like the newest Parker book and some Vertigo stuff. For those that don't recognize the non DC publishers, Archaia does a bunch of independent series' as well as a few licenced books liek Planet of the Apes, but their best things to pick up would be the Eisner winning and absolutely gorgeous books Tale of Sand based on a long lost screenplay by Jim Henson, and The Return of the Dapper Men by Jim McCann and Janet Lee. BOOM! Studios do a bunch of licensed books like all the Adventure Time comics as well as original series' like Irredeemable and Incorruptible by Mark Waid (Kingdom Come) which get a lot of hype, though I haven't read any of them. IDW do a whole lot of licensed books based on TV shows like Angel and Star Trek, a ton of reprint collections of old comics like Dick Tracy and Popeye, a lot of art books, and they they also some really good original books like Joe Hill's Locke & Key and the Darwyn Cooke Parker books which are amazing. They also do Artist Editions of old books like The Spirit by Will Eisner which are big books where scans of the original art is reprinted on the original full size art board so it looks like the original art. Here's an example. Unfortunately these aren't on sale, though I guess that's a lot to ask as they're all $100-200.
  14. Game of Thrones (TV show)

I was going to watch Game of Thrones because all my friends want to watch the next episode on Sunday or whatever, but I ended up just rewatching Seinfeld. Oh well I tried.
  15. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

It's already been mentioned a few times, but I figured I would bring up The Private Eye by Brian K. Vaughan as the 6th issue is out and the first 5 issues are now collected in one digital trade, so if you haven't checked it out that's a good way to get it for $0+.
  16. DOTA 2

As long as they're in booths I'm fine with it.
  17. Pokémon X and Y

So a friend and I decided to team up and complete our Pokedex's to get the shiny charm. I finally got it, meaning I have officially caught all the Pokemon. I guess part of my childhood is now complete or something.
  18. The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

New Manchester Orchestra album, I think it's tied with La Dispute for my current favorite album this year so far. La Dispute
  19. Can We Discuss the Possibility of Shenmue 3?

I want Y5,why is it not coming to the US? It makes me mad.
  20. Dota Today 11: She's My Hard Support

They should just make mmr based on how much marijuana you smoke. I tell everyone in all my games how much weed I blaze, but I don't think they believe me. Edit: on my phone blaze auto-corrects to blaziken.
  21. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

Oh man, new Stray Bullets. It's been almost 10 years since the last issue came out and I was a little worried if David Lapham could jump back in. It's just as bleak, just as nihilistic, and just as good as it's ever been.
  22. Cartoons!

I used to be okay with Cars because I saw it as the movie that made Pixar money so that they could make their good movies. Then Cars 2 came out and after that they didn't really go back to making movies as strong as the string of films that preceeded it. I also don't have high expectations for Inside Out or the dinosaur movie, though I hope I'll be pleasantly surprised. I rewatched the Incredibles about a year ago and the first thing I did after finishing it was go online and see if they had announced a sequel yet since it seemed like that's what they had been doing and out of all the movies it's the one that most deserves one. They hadn't and I was sad. Now I'm not.
  23. Dota Today 11: She's My Hard Support

"there should be bans even for like, playing on another language regions servers when you don't know the language." What if your language isn't one of the possible options?
  24. If you don't have a lot of games Least Played won't be any different as it only removes heroes you've played with past a certain threshold of games.
