  1. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

HOLY COW, YOU CAN STACK FRUIT IN YOUR INVENTORY. I wish I knew this earlier.
  2. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Go ahead and add me too, i'm this number.
  3. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I just opened my gate, and i'm going to leave it open for probably as long as my 3DS has battery life.

I don't think this choice matters when the fact remains that the design itself is slanted to combat, many of Dishonored's abilities are only applicable in acts of violence. It's stealth purely for personal amusement, where stealth in Thief was very much enforced, there was a real physical threat to Garrett because of his inadequacy in a fight. That, to me, always felt like a much more meaningful and thoughtful design. The efficient response to being spotted was more stealth, it wasn't to go murder everybody in the immediate vicinity.
  5. Recently completed video games

Oh, they definitely are every bit as shitty as they were in the first. Don't do it, man. Borderlands 2 is still broken for public games.

Dishonored has far more of a combat slant than Thief though, and the second i saw bullet time and executions in Thief 4, i tuned out. I didn't much like Dishonored, and i don't want Thief to be that.
  7. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

There are certainly a lot of other great games on the 3DS.
  8. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

The first things to go after are getting Nook to build you a house - which you've done - and then getting your mayoral approval rating up to 100%, everything else will start gradually opening up after you do those two. Run through your secretary's tutorial dialogues, she'll hook you up with some of the basic necesseties and let you know which fruit is your town's desired fruit. Also, i just added a ton of you guys to my friends list. Also, i definitely received a Virtual Boy from the fortune cookie thing, It will be proudly displayed in my home once i have room.
  9. 3DS Friend Codes

Doesn't look like Hermie has added me yet, since it's stuck me at provisionally registered.
  10. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Unrelated to anything being said, but i goddamned love Tom Nook's silly little sweater vest.
  11. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I remember hearing that you actually can do that, it might just be something that takes time to unlock. I mean, i just unlocked the streetpass functionality.
  12. Nintendo 3DS

Don't forget about the automatic teller in the post office, you can make deposits there. As for the play coin items, i am super jealous of that Metroid.
  13. Nintendo 3DS

Just an eShop heads-up, a new Picross game for the 3DS and Mighty Switch Force 2 just went up.
  14. Have any of the guys on the podcast spent any real time with the 3DS?
  15. Nintendo 3DS

http://tinycartridge.com/post/52826692543/starbucks-and-mcdonalds-among-others-provide This is a really, really interesting thing Nintendo is doing to try and make the streetpass functionality more accessible.

I thoroughly enjoy Shigeru Miyamoto, he can be infectiously child-like and charming.
  17. Nextbox 1080: The Reckoning

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxkEe_l7S3g Did he just... He didn't really... I'm going to go lie down.

The best friend tag just lets you instant message eachother while still in your own individual towns, i don't see any way to send mail to another town. Which is dumb, yes. You could mail somebody a gift by using their own post office in their own town, i believe. Which is also dumb, yes. The main practical purpose of the post office is just sending gifts and notes to the NPC's so you can ensure the ones that you like stick around.
  19. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I really need a net, i can probably trade you some apples for it. (Edit: Except that i seem to have picked all my trees clean.) Are you on right now? Edit: Alright, hey, thanks for the net and the peaches. Your town is way more developed than mine, also. Your town theme made me laugh, heh.
  20. If anybody wants to add me on Steam, just let me know.
  21. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

http://www.nintendo.com/3ds/image-share/ NoA set up a site for the image sharer too, though i guess it just puts you through to the same end point. According to my secretary person, oranges are the fruit most desired in my town. Additionally, if you go through all of her tutorial dialogue, she gives you a watering can. I still need an axe and a bug net, and i guess eventually a sling shot, and probably something else i'm forgetting. Oh, well... new in ACNL, diving suits actually allow you to go swimming. I haven't found one of those yet.

So that Nintendo Direct was a bust, man. The Wii U is looking more and more troubled. The most substantial bright spot in all of that was, again, Monolith's upcoming "maybe it's a xenoblade sequel?" Also, which is awesome and should have happened long ago.
  23. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Bah! I got so wrapped up in E3 stuff that i didn't get to any shops before they closed, a day wasted! I need to get a ways into the mayoral arc so i can change my town's schedule to suit my night owl tendencies. Edit: Blah, and a day later, i find i still can't get the tools i need from my own shops.
  24. 3DS Friend Codes

You need to share your code for that to happen.
