I would love to play. I've wanted to give this a shot ever since they talked about it on the cast. Unfortunately my group of friends would have no interest in something like this.

Trials evolution might have made the worst first impression on me of any game I've ever played. You are forced to sit through a really terrible rap-rock song about playing Trials. My girlfriend was horrified.

The only customizable card game card I ever owned was a Pokemon card that had "BIKES AND AWESOME FRIENDS RULE!!!" written on it. I found it in the woods while I was in high school and had it in my wallet for ten years until I was robbed at gunpoint. Losing that card was a total bummer.

I'm fairly sure Shawn Elliott says it at the beginning of the irrational Podcasts.

I really don't think that Bioware employees would be at liberty to say that they think the ending sucked. Just a few weeks after the game came out.

I played the first 45 minutes or so last night, and my take away so far is that they managed to make earth being destroyed shockingly mundane. There doesn't seem to be any urgency to the situation. They also didn't let me import my old Shepard's appearance. He was a black guy with a killer flat top and a shitty mustache. My new guy just doesn't feel like the reporter punching bad ass I grew to love in the first two games. Bad first impressions.

Would they really have to sell shitloads of these things out of the gate? With a more traditional console if no one buys the thing, the hardware manufacturer isn't selling any software. With this thing, even if its not selling millions of units, they're still selling the same amount of stuff that they've been selling all along. Obviously they need to make back whatever it takes to develop the box, but it seems like this would have a very different business plan than something like the xbox.

I would jump at the chance to get something like this, assuming the price isn't too outrageous. I don't currently have a computer capable of running decent games, but boy do I have plenty of games on steam.

Being a Philadelphia resident, I really fail to see how 1770s Philly would be an interesting space for an Assassin's Creed game. The architecture is pretty boring and certainly lacking in anything big and impressive. Its was also laid out in a perfect grid, which is not as interesting as all of the wacky, winding paths from earlier games. I am, of course, assuming that Philly will be featured, but that seems like a fairly good assumption. All that said, I would love to see revolutionary era Montreal.
