Anybody up for an Arma evening again? Last time we played we tried to make ACRE work, it didn't. We are not gonne spend more time on that, untill we got something more stable. So yea, who's up for Arma?!

Nice vids. I can recommend using software like Adobe Premiere if your on a windows machine and Final cut when your on an apple. Also interrupting Lu isnt hard to do. HE TALKS ALL THE TIME. (joke Lu you know I rawwr ya (L) )

Yes! Awesome. it worked! Looking forward to some Arma3 with ACRE. Still need to figure out how to get more radios. The standard one we tested got a max range of about 1km. Not ideal for missions with heli support in it. <- Check page 1 for download links and Installation guide.

Suuuup soldiers! ACRE seemed to have had some bugs fixed with the release of Beta. I willl get some guys together to give it a try and let you peeps know. Shacktac is allready playing with ACRE in arma 3 and seems to work fine for them but then again its Shacktac.. Pretty cool mission by the shacktac guys. I picked my fav moment. edit: Got the new version installed now. It seems to respond better to my actions. Still need to test it with some guys. Hopefully tonight.

Make sure you redownload the community base addon and the shack tac hud (links in OP). The Alpha versions of the addons arent compatible with the beta. And a heads up. You will need to rebind all your keys, everything has been set back to default.

Yes. As soon as a decent release is out, we will try it again. This release works, but you gotta make it work. And thats no problem if you play with 3 or 4 guys. But if you wanne make it work for 8 or 10 guys is not gonna work for now. For example, the mod worked fine for toblix and Lu when we tried it. It sort of worked for me and it didnt work at all for Mike. So its better we wait. We can make it work now. But its too mutch work really. It's a shame tho, working with a radio is so mutch better (more fun xD) at least we got the buddie system now!

I agree. The Direct voice chat ingame isnt all that great. The radio sounds flipping cool. I can imaging all the "over" jokes that are gonne fly around once we all use this mod over. The Mod sort of worked yesterday xD. It did for you and Lu. I think TeamSpeak was the problem for me yesterday. I will try and figure it out. Somehow I know the mod in this state is too buggy to make it work, but I still wanne make it work EDIT: I think its best we wait for the Public release and try again. I did some forum digging and the public release should be out pretty soon. This "UO" (hench the two CBA dirs) version is too unstalbe to really test it out.

I did some googling and the mod I was talking about is called ACRE. To use this mod we need a teamspeak server. I will look into this and keep you updated. You hear the engines on the background over the radio. I think the max range for the radios is 20km or something. Hey guys. So how about we start doing some Arma 3 evenings again? I want to make a suggestion . How about we use the in-game voice chat. I've seen some groups play with in-game voices and a mod (I think its a mod, could be in-game not sure) that allows you to transmit over long distance. Its alot more fun to hear the guy standing on your right actually coming from the right. Also the long distance transmitting is pretty bad ass. Well still use Mumble to meet up but when we are in game we switch. What do you guys think? I'm up for next weekend. Let me know when you peeps can and can't play so we can have a nice big group playing. I'm looking forward to it!

Im so tempted to buy this game. Is it worth the money?

Last weekend was kinda shit Arma wise. I couldn't make it on sunday en saturday we where playing some other games. Im also kinda waiting on some parts I orderd to install my second GPU, got some pretty nasty frame drops in Arma 3 sometimes, makes it less fun. But I'm sure alot more play evenings will follow brkl, dont worrie about that xD Well try and get a group together next weekend, for the people intressested. Yesterday I saw Husky casting "Bronze league heroes". That made we wanne try sc2 out once more. I've never stopped watching sc2. MLG, GSL etc. I love the game but im so bad at it Any EU players on here? I think I used to be a gold league Terran back in the days. But bronze or silver is what I'm getting at now I think. So any EU players who wanne muck around sometimes?
