I thought this was pretty interesting, using markers however you like to keep track of your progress.

That's a nice little game

I completed it on my second go. I like the way it shifts on a balance between marking and memory - I first started using the diamonds to mark up to four squares each, then rows, but there are few enough that by the end it took a bit of cognitive work. It has a nice dynamic between the randomly highlighted squares and any attempts at method.
