Fight Club the game, reviewed

Recommended Posts

a fighting game based on the movie at least basically seems to make sense.

Er...

Unless you're a masochistic Fight Club fan looking to purposely have your sensibilities offended, then you'd be well advised to stay far away from this game.

Ha! :grin::gaming:

When you finish Fight Club's story mode--which is a series of mind-numbingly easy and repetitive battles punctuated by poorly prerendered images overlaid with terrible voice-over that is rife with pointless swearing--and which has the audacity to try to tie in with the events of the film, you unlock Limp Bizkit front man Fred Durst as a playable character.

?????!!!!!!! :fart::fart::nuts::frusty::shifty::sombrero::fart::fart::fart::fart::fart::hmph::fart:

Also: prrrt.

Gamespot is weird when they review a crappy game, it's like they try to pick it apart for the good bits and end up trashing it to the point of embarassment anyway. There also weird when they review a great game by overstating tiny flaws. Well, at least they aren't as crappy as most game sites.

When it comes down to it, I'd rather have them be overly harsh than overly accomodating, though. There are far too many hypetastic review sites out there.
