  1. We've got a problem in Town Square. There's a butt-ton of villagers trapped beneath one of the houses on the southeast corner of the square and it's causing serious performance issues on the server. I tried to get in there and clean them out but the lag is so intense that I couldn't, and now I get "moved too fast (hacking)" errors when I try to connect. Help, tabacco?

EDIT: I was able to escape, but I'm putting a (king's) bounty on these @#$% villagers.

  2. I've done some maintenance on the above-ground transit system. There are now six main gates leading in and out of "Idleton", which is what tabacco and I have agreed to call the impressive congregation of architecture around the Spawntree. I've also added directional signage at key intersections both inside Idleton City Limits and throughout the surrounding environs, which should help new players find their way around more easily. Road construction continues at a brisk pace; we have plans to expand our network of roads to all points west, including the Black Flaming Helmet on a Stick, Floating Jefferson Memorial and the Giant Jungle Robot.

Suggestions for new roads, signs, official landmark names, etc. are welcome!

  3. I'm playing Minecraft basically for the first time today. After feeling super intimidated by all the amazing structures you guys have built, I started work on a shitty house neighboring what appears to be the giant monkey head from Monkey Island and StarmanDeluxe's Brickhaus.

I might have squatted the Brickhaus for the first couple of nights. :fart:

Oh cool, that was you? I'm glad someone found my tiny hut useful! Also, sorry I had to bail in the middle of road-building. I'll finish the path to your house tonight.

I'm loving the server so far and I hope folks continue to build amazing stuff.

  4. I'm loving this crazy game! Never would've thought I'd enjoy Video Poker of all things, but if anyone can bring me around to a genre I thought I hated, it's Telltale.

I hope this game sells well so you guys can make more "traditional" games using wacky-ass characters. It's such a cool concept.

  5. I'm sure you guys already use the TF2 Backpack Examiner, but now that item trading functionality is up and running you can set up trade requests with strangers! Just "claim" your backpack and select the items you want to trade, as well as what you're seeking, and the website will match you automatically with compatible trade requests. It's a good alternative to spending lots of money on items, especially if you've got hats or lots of metal you're willing to part with!

PROTIP: Rare or no-longer-obtainable hats like the Earbuds or Misc. Slot items can be worth multiple hats in a trade, if you're looking to beef up your hat stock by any means necessary.

  6. Just picked up Full Throttle on the cheap. This game feels pretty much like every other LucasArts adventure game in terms of gameplay, but the writing and characterizations are so completely not what I associate with LucasArts. In a good way, of course.

It's just so satisfying when you need to pump a guy for information, but instead of handing him some sort of carefully-contrived bribe, you [grab that sumbitch by his nose ring and slam his face into the bar].*

Now that's empowerment fantasy in gaming!

    * Whited-out for awesome spoilerage. Also I don't know how to do actual spoiler tags on this forum.

  7. After playing WR since launch, I've been wondering how Team17's track record is for patching up their Worms games, since this one obviously needs a little more work. I've only ever owned the console versions of various Worms titles, so do you think the PC will get a little extra after-launch love?

EDIT: All that said I'm still having a lot of fun playing this video game.
