Played LBP. Can't stand it, the controls are horrible, the game feels like it doesn't want to you to play it (You have to sit through freaking ages of cinematics and bits with no control before you get to play and then there's all the back tracking you need to do if you want to be a completest) and the content creator was so uninteresting to me that I am sworn off LBP for life. Unless they can fix all of this i'm not going to touch 2 with a 10-foot pole. I'll admit though, that trailer is awesome.

So i'm going to Japan for a month, pretty excited about it but I do feel pretty apprehensive about going somewhere where I don't know the language. Luckily, one of my uncles lives there so we should be able to get by alright. Anyway, we'll be down south and around tokyo doing how knows what. Should be awesome.

Idle Thumbs III will have a subscription based system and micro transactions for extra bloopers. Also, an iPhone app with the ability to take and/or upload wizard related photos to a master server on the go, a built in 'Call Wizard-On' button, access to every episode of the podcast (For a price, of course) and every Snooglebum remix. This app would cost the meager price of $20. Great ideas right? ...right?

That was great, loved the extra stuff in the video. I wonder if his entire life is that extreme.

Which is why all of my passwords are randomly generated numbers, letters and where possible character strings which I store securely in a secret place.

Plus the greatest test of all, the ever present horror of big dog.

I was playing some WoW and then BAM: Bejeweled Wizard's Bracers Like the Popcap game or like the bling? Either case is awesome. By the way, bottom left corner is the plague that is killing WoW.

Slightly off-topic but I didn't want to create another thread for it This article is the truth.

I think the saddest part of the death of Idle Thumbs is going to be when years from now when no more pods are being cast into my face and i'm playing some game and it sets off something in my mind that makes me think about it in terms of an idle thumbs story and i'll be ultra bummed. I'm going to miss hearing Chris tell stories about awesome shit that happens in games. Also, awesome cast. had me laughing so hard that I almost died in a WoW raid, so thanks. -
Well, thanks.

Where I come from the phrase 'baby cannon' has a very different meaning... Here's something new. No seriously, it's new. VKsVSBhSwJg

From an interview (CH = Clint Hocking): SirSlaysALot: Why did you decide to include respawning enemies at all the guard posts? CH: This issue was raised by one of the programming leads late in the development cycle, but my feeling at the time was that it was not an issue. I knew it was happening, but the number of places in which it was noticeable was small. In fact, the number of places where you notice it is small - it is just that they almost all happen to be very close to safe houses that are frequently visited en route to and from major objectives, meaning that almost every player encounters these few places in almost every mission. We didn't do anything intentionally to make it that way, but we also didn't do anything to fix it, and that was my fault because I misestimated the severity of the issue. In hindsight, having read numerous reviews of the game, this issue seems to be the single largest problem with the game, and it is frustrating for a lot of the players. It makes me a bit sad to think that this one slightly mishandled, moderately scoped technical design issue seems to have such a powerful influence on the overall perception of the game when I feel we did so many things well. I guess that's the challenge of making hugely ambitious games - you're juggling a lot of plates and it's very hard to pull off the perfect finish.

The atomic bomb differed greatly from conventional bombs made of chemical explosives in that it released vastly more energy and some of that energy was in the form of radiation. About 5% of the energy released was in the form of initial radiation and about 10% was residual radiation. "Initial radiation" refers to the radiation that was released the instant the bomb exploded. This radiation did tremendous damage to human bodies. Nearly everyone who was directly exposed within one kilometer of the hypocenter received enough radiation to kill them. Residual radiation appeared as the initial radiation subsided. About 80% of the total amount of residual radiation was released within 24 hours of the bombing. One study found that a person standing at the hypocenter 24 hours after the bombing would have received only one thousandth the dose of residual radiation that would have been received by a person who was there right after the bomb exploded. One week later, the dose would be only one millionth the original dose. In other words, residual radiation levels fell very rapidly. Today, the background radiation in Hiroshima and Nagasaki is the same as the average amount of natural radiation present anywhere on Earth. It is not enough to affect human health.

Yes, but is it... amusing?

I'll take that as a compliment.

The Idle Thumbs Podcast Episode 9: Rolling With the Pope

Man, what a turn up for the books. The theme song to Zero Punctuation rocks. EDIT: Then I realized that picking one short piece of music used for a online video series and saying that it rocks is probably a douchey thing to do, so to be more accurate. I think all of your work is awesome, in particular the ZP theme is badass. I'll shut up now...
