Driver update didn't help, I suppose i'm stuck like this until I get a new computer. (So forever) Comp specs: Intel Core2 Duo CPU E6850 3.00GHz Memory: 4GB 1066MHz DDR2 Corsair DOMINATOR RAM Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT Monitors: BenQ FP72E and IBM ThinkVision Sound Card: Sound Blaster X-Fi Audio Card (Not being used) Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 Ever since I switched from Windows XP Professional to Windows 7 i've noticed a marked decrease in game performance, but i've noticed an increase in video rendering speeds in AE. This computer was brand new for CoD4 but now... PC gaming.

So i've been playing the game and although I have to run it on low settings it does run decently except for two things. 1. I can only run it in DX9 (My system supports DX11), in 10/11 mode it CTDs. 2. When I hit the next turn button the game comes to a grinding halt for about 30 seconds then restarts just fine when my turn begins. Anybody know what might be causing this? I'm getting to my wits end with this computer anyway.

Instead of copying a giant slide we need to be original here, let's come up with something truly biblical and then make it happen.

At least in the demo I find that apart from killing the barbarians the military option is far harder then turtling and researching like crazy.

The sniper was kind of lame, I understand the constraints of turn of the century weaponry but I mean come on, you're in a floating city, using plasmids and fighting against giant (Presumably) robotic enemies I think you can go a little out of the bounds of history for the weapons guys.

Anomalies are great cash makers, here's what I did to make essentially infinite amounts of money: I collect as much stuff as I can physically carry and sell it (Repair guns and then sell them if need be, you still make some profit.), this was enough to make me enough money to buy as many supplies as need be. I didn't even attempt to collect artifacts until I had the experimental detector from the scientists, once you have that it gets a lot easier. Try going back to the first zone and collecting the easier artifacts then return to the mid zone and collect the harder ones with your experience, there are three in particular I can point to, don't read if you want to discover them for yourself.

True, she made me immediately uncomfortable. It's not like i'm averse to female video game characters (Half Life 2, Final Fantasies, Personas...) but Elizabeth creeps me out for reasons unknown, perhaps it is what you described or maybe it's because she is way overacted.
