I find it hilarious that it found it's way onto TVTropes.

I took this one a while ago and forgot to upload it.

I'd agree with the second part, but on opinions being wrong, I believe that to be true. I can say that in my opinion iron has a higher atomic number than zinc and that opinion would be wrong. Taste on the other hand, can not be wrong. I can say that I prefer Cookies & Cream Ice cream to Vanilla Ice cream, you might not agree with that but it is not objectively wrong.

It's a question of opinion or taste, opinion can be wrong, taste can not. But that's beside the point, it looks amazing.

Everything about the presentation and marketing of the game is sickening, but the actual gameplay looks enjoyable, it's quite the quandary. As for Fox, is anyone honestly surprised? You almost have to admire just how far they can bend facts.

Unfortunately, yes. Although I forget when and where, so it's probably fine.

Much like the original post in this thread, I always discounted Anime, but after diving head first into it, I love it. What i've watched in Chronological order: FLCL My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute (I'm fully aware that this title sounds like porn) I tried to watch Serial Experiments Lain, but I couldn't keep going around episode 6. RIN ~Daughters of Mnemosyne~ Currently i'm watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. All of the above anime are excellent. Despite giving up on Lain, I was impressed by what I saw, it was simply too indecipherable for me. I watched Mnemosyne and was both disgusted and massively impressed by it, I would recommend it, however it pushes the boundaries of anime vs hentai so, so, so hard and has the most intense violence. It isn't for the faint of heart.

Thanks for that wholesale dismissal of my opinion and insult to my internet face.

It's easy to sit there and scream about capitalism being a horrible thing but it's not so easy to implement a system that would run the world perfectly. The reason communism and socialism don't work is because of man's intrinsic greed and lust for power, try taking away people's sense of power (Especially those in large corporations) and see what you get. Like it or not, capitalism is what we have. Capitalism is the way the human race runs. It's easy to take all the worst elements (Endemic corruption, poverty, etc.) but it has also given us the capability to function as a global community. Tell me i'm wrong, tell me that if humanity had or does go instead with some perfect system that we could get by without capitalism and i'd love to hear how. For the record, I agree that Capitalism is anything but the perfect system, however I don't agree that we could or should dump it, unless you have the master plan to utopian society.

Accept her freedom of speech. Resent her. Wish she would choose not to use her freedom of speech to spew horror into the world. Repeat.

Mein Thumbcraft—IdleT Dedicated Minecraft Server
Thompson replied to MrHoatzin's topic in Multiplayer Networking
You can mod your block graphic files to make only certain blocks visible, for example you could make only Diamonds, Iron, Adminium and Coal visible. Not sure if it works on MP servers, are the block graphics being read from the server or the client? I presume client, if so, it should work. -
99% of the PMs I send and receive are not things worth keeping*. I'm not sure whether to be depressed by that. *They're mostly just links to things.

I would urge everyone to consider signing this petition for freedom in Egypt. Avaaz do amazing work.

I'm using the fact that it has an awesome flash website to get this in here, but yeah, it's 3D Sudoku and it's awesome. Tredoku.

Scripted events let the developer show you something crazy and make sure you see it, but they certainly make you feel less like a player and more like a viewer. Even when Valve taut that they know where players are looking and make stuff happen there (therefore eliminating the need to take control away from the player) their games are still cripplingly linear and controlling. It's the classic GTA problem: We want you to chase this guy and see this cool chase scene, so to make sure you see it all you can't kill him till it's over. No matter what. Makes me feel like i'm a little kid at a zoo. "Look over there! Look at that!" Except i'm more like a little kid at a zoo with an abusive and over controlling parent who keeps grabbing me and forcing me to look at things.

I enjoyed BLOPS and MoH's campaigns, I think I actually prefer MoH's single player but obviously BLOPS has the MP nailed. Modern Warfare 3... now that's an unappetizing prospect.

That reminds me, I bought a Boost bar a while back because of the Thumbs. It wasn't any normal Boost bar though, it was a new Boost Stix! -

Have you ever played a game based on a franchise you don't really know?
Thompson replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Video Gaming
Aha, please tell me you have bizarre, drug induced recollections of that movie that are totally different to the real thing. Persona 4 was the first and only Shin Megami Tensei thing i've ever played. I'm sure the other games are good too, but I don't like the idea of going backward in a series. Is that weird? Apart from that... Metro 2033 was a book? Huh. I could name a million games where I played the 2nd or third one without ever playing the others but I think World of Warcraft is the biggest one for me, the closest i've ever come to Warcraft is playing LoL. FAR CRY 2.
