  1. Steam Summer Getaway Sale

    WaitWho is this? ... :3
  2. Steam Summer Getaway Sale

It's to encourage people to use the Steam Market. If you don't care for the cards you have but fancy working up some Steam Wallet funds, sell them on the Market. If you want to collect the full set, purchase or trade for the ones you don't have. It's the Ship Card Economy.
  3. So Linden Lab has bought indie store Desura. Just the store, not DesuraNET (now called DBolical), IndieDB, ModDB or SlideDB. Still, massive. If they do it right.
  4. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

My first week of turnip-turning has revealed only the most horrible of prices, but I do have apples for anyone that is in the "ooh what fruits do you have" phase. I haven't got any other fruits yet. Mercantile skills yoooo!
  5. (IGN.com)

"Like all of you I've been pretty much blown away by the new GTA trailer" - (on secondment to Eurogamer)
  6. GTA V

I ... was not entirely convinced by the switching. Seemed to break the flow of that towernapping section.
  7. Grand Thumb Auto retro PC edition

You hooligans. Lowest prices to date (April 2013): IV only: $4.99, €4.99, £4.99 IV Compleat Tome: $7.49, €7.49, £6.24
  8. R.I.P. Ryan Davis

    Oh wow. Heartbreaking.
  9. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Aha! Of course. I will think about whether my town would be further morally compromised by having its second human character acting as an out-of-sight slave of the first. I think we already friended each other the other night from within New Leaf.
  10. R.I.P. Ryan Davis

Yeah but at the same time I'm kind of surprised that the GiantBombComm hasn't already hiveminded it. (I mean that's the level of admirable group achievement that, rightly or wrongly, I've come to associate with them)
  11. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

That's a fair point! On the subject of house extensions, I wish you could have a separate holiday home by the beach. I've just had my first house extension done and kind of wish I'd perfected the small living space look. Bigger is not always better, right? Another of Tom Nook's lies.
  12. Games giveaway

Fine. Here's my WIshlist of Greed: Droplitz, which looks a one-player Zynga of Connect 4 (psst! Hasbro you should totally let a Zynga do this!) with a load of Pipemania thrown in. Plus it's Atlus-published so, you know, Atluuuuus. Eventually I will just dig out Travel Connect 4 instead. Broken Sword, which I already have on the iOS, and played barely more than the initial puzzle because I was like UGH this is so made for mouse control, why can't you tether another iOS device and use it as a mouse? Then if I played it with a mouse I would be like UGH this is so old Zen Bound 2 for when it gets Oculus and Kinect-a-like / Leapmotion integration. Yesterday evening I spent far too long unsuccessfully trying to disengage a coiled spring from a piece of ornamental string and found it a highly frustrating experience so I know that Zen Bound 2 was made for me. (I removed Snuggle Truck because there is no excuse for not connecting Snuggle Truck iOS to a TV screen.) Bearing in mind that I am likely to play each for approx 14 minutes each, my reasoning is included because I would love it if someone else went "NO, Leego, I am taking these awesome titles from under your nose because you already had NightSky, bumface". Sorry for the wall of text and for not being all that amusing. It's been so hot. 2 second edit: I already regret this. overnight edit: wishlist rescinded. too many games already. silly billy. thank you for your generosity Twig, make some co-workers happy!
  13. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I'm trying to keep my gate open and check for faraway destinations every so often but it does stop you from conducting important mayorly activities such as wasting your assistant's time and adding a crucial pixel ir two to the town flag. Like you I find my town progress relatively slow, especially in comparison to some of our more advanced Thumbs' formidable accomplishments, but on the other hand it's nice that ACNL is so well suited to a few minutes here and there. Onto more important business: Have we had any ACNL Thumb Party Nights yet? Shall we? Super Island Fun Tiems?
  14. GTA V

True. Max Payne 3 was a couple of weeks later on Windows machines and not long after on Mac, so there's a foundation for that hope, current-gen though it may be.
  15. GTA V

I wonder whether they will do a GTAV GOTY for PS4 and XBO once the PC version's done (spot the assumption etc.)
  16. GTA V

Disappointment at lack of actual barbecue.
  17. R.I.P. Ryan Davis

    No
  18. (IGN.com)

    Nightclub scene! Gotta get dat.
  19. Plug your shit

Nice. I do think that one of the selling points should be 'Giant Bunnies'
  20. Luigi's Mustache Competition: A personal request

    Game over, man, game over!
  21. Sonic & Allstars Racing Transformed

Sorry yeah. May as well download the whole game and tan it over the weekend thinking about how cheap it is. You get my meaning.
  22. Sonic & Allstars Racing Transformed

Ah shame. As for me, I really wish that MotionInJoy didn't totally eat Logitech's bluetooth drivers. Super sad face (edit - hold on, a new challenger has appeared: the Scarlet Crush Xinput Wrapper for DS3, will try out later) Well, may as well download the demo then... brmmmm
  23. Sonic & Allstars Racing Transformed

Oh man. I need to consider this. Surely it's going to go at least as low during the summer sales? Is there an Idle Thumbs Karting Krew? Regular race night? If not why not? El Muerte what sort of controller do you use?
  24. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

    Will it support mods?
