That time Gabe Newell hacked my computer

Not wanting to trengthen any conspiracy theories but it happens in online multiplayer all the tim3, dunnit? -
Tegs, I can get hold of the Box Corner Sofa if you're still looking for one?
-
Have an awesome meetup people!
-
Plus the longer you can wait after the console releases are out, the greater likelihood there is of a PC / XBO / PS4 date announcement. Couple of months sounds about right.
-
Yeah, although buying once on PC would be ideal, I think I might end up getting it on PS3 first. If it's good, of course.
-
So who else has had an amazing time getting back into this since the Humble Bundle, and maybe been left wanting for some Thumbout Paradise?

Manz, is that an intentional reference to http://idlethumbs.wikia.com/wiki/Space_Cop ? -
I keep popping in to see if Rodi has posted yet. Perhaps he is purposefully ignoring the thread. Perhaps he will miss Teh R3al Half-Life 3 news when it breaks here first!

The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS

A prequel where you are John Riccitello and you have 1,000 dialogue trees to explore in the Electronic Arts corridors of power. Each one has the potential to have a massive effect on both video and stock market gamers, so that the title is accurate. -

Yeah although what if EA chooses to put all its sci-fi stuff into Star Wars now? -
Damn it, but computers have become really complicated

It's like Surgeon Simulator 2013 crossed with a 1950s Meccano set. You'll be fine. -
I have some flashy staches, masks and cucumber packs you could borrow medium to long term if you're in need of some accessories. Wouldn't be able to visit you until quite a bit later today though.

Check it for fleas with a delousing comb. The fleas make it overheat. No but as Os says the thermal paste sounds like the culprit. A syringe of thermal paste should only cost about a £5er, less if the computer shop guy is really impressed with your knowledge of Arctic Silver. -

Check the power pack as well -
New theory - Jake is the real D.A.R.Y.L. Evidence: He has the best robot voice impression. Is the most fascinated by the progress made by Boston Dynamics. And has the biggest fear of robots taking over the world. Freudian analysis: His CPU-controlled brain is repressing the knowledge of his true origins. But repressed thoughts always find a way out. The 1985 motion picture D.A.R.Y.L. was in fact an unsuccessful DARPA-funded initiative designed to flush out the young Jake Robotkin.

So is it a DICE inside joke that the Battlefield Dude always looks a bit like a younger and / or hardened version of a senior studio employee, or is it just a vanity thing to get the bosses to approve of key art? Dear DICE employee reading this post, please contact me with further information. -
Maybe the real Peter Molydeux is on holiday and has been replaced by Petrois Molydupe

Idle Thumbs 120: The Spectacle Was Incredible
Justin Leego replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Whenever I see a video of one of the Idle Thumbs, my go-to response is now "but what if that's a really advanced PETMAN?" -
Yeah it's really wierd. I can only assume that at some level it's the product of a sarcastic agreement.
-
Aha! I probably should have put glasses on for that seeing as they are quite far in the distance. Ho ho.

Then open your bag to reveal a rather large ham encased in resin.

Oh really? Lucky fellow. I had a really good time in Iceland and also didn't die in the wilds. Would love to go back and not die in the wilds again. And the Bónus pig is surely the happiest store mascot ever. e-bow as in Sigur Ros' preferred guitar tormenting device of choice. Not really jazz in the conventional sense (whatever that might mean in Icelandic terms anyway) but, you know, the go-to bunch of Icelandic musos and they have played the festival before. Enjoying the way there are no cars on the roads in that poster, and your snuck-in signature. My three fave illustrated persons would have to be Exuberant Drummer, Stern and Suggestive Piano Keytar Player, and Power Pose Saxophonist. Although Woody Allen on the double bass was pretty hilarious. What's the story behind the blond in the top left, the one with a kid on her shoulder, if you don't mind me asking? Some sort of jazz ventriloquism double-act?
