  1. Oh, I've been enjoying USgamer in the last year or so. Its own news items are further supplemented by a sidebar feed of selected picks usually taken from Eurogamer and VG247 if you're after a more comprehensive coverage.
  2. ObjectiveGameReviews.com - A Subtle Journey of Discovery

    Suspended? But for why?
  3. Giant Bomb has a pretty good reputation for games news, largely thanks to the work of Patrick "The Other Scoops" Klepeck. Joystiq usually goes to the trouble of enclosing the relevant press release, vertabim, with each news post. Would be interested in other Thumb's preferences too.
  4. Life

    Hahaha. I guffawed.
  5. Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)

Congrats Hammerpants, you're well up the leaderboards for today! Have to say that the mines were ridiculously easy for this one. That makes the Black Market error all the more grevious -- I'm sure I wasn't the only one to Silly, silly.
  6. ObjectiveGameReviews.com - A Subtle Journey of Discovery

Interesting. How great a difference would it make to have "clued in" versus "earnest" review staff, do you think?
  7. Plug your shit

Based as it is on objectivity.
  8. Help identifying song from a video

    What are you doing?
  9. Games giveaway

There's also Coupon Dumpster for a more moderated experience. It's a bit more hassle but the added friction is intended to ensure that your coupon makes its way to someone that intends to use it for personal rather than commercial gain. (but yeah, basically, Trashbot)
  10. Video Game Baby - Idle Parents

    Scribblenauts?
  11. General Video Game Deals Thread

If you have the Enhanced Steam extension installed on your browser of choice it will insert a prominent 3rd Party DRM!! warning into the relevant Steam store pages (among other wonderful things).
  12. Plug your shit

Great. That circular logo should prove very adaptable! Looking forward to Objective Game Review Sites.
  13. Plug your shit

Excellent work. Have you got any sweet site-wide sponsorship deals worked out? Get on that.
  14. General Video Game Deals Thread

I don't know that UtO has zombies. It does have a rather rotund and blue-skinned person as a protagonist though, if that counts :3
  15. General Video Game Deals Thread

I think you might have confused Minecraft with PlayStation Home.
  16. General Video Game Deals Thread

I see that the Under The Ocean alpha is 75% off ($1.99, €1.99 or £1.74) for another day, and I know we have a couple of fans here. It's a randomly generated island exploration and survival game based on a TIGsource competition entry. The devs are now in the process of adding multiplayer and switching perspective (!) from 2D to isometric. A daring move. I think I'm gonna make this my third and final Steam sale Real Money Perch, keeping it even more thrifty than usual this year. Is there a way to embed tweets on this version of the forum software?
  17. GTA IV runs poorly on Windows 8.1 (with 1.0.7.0 patch)

Go into settings and turn your PC into an Xbox 360.
  18. Spelunky!

    It's just so good.
  19. (IGN.com)

Next year we'll be discussing the GHOTY.
  20. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

Whoa-oh, you're over half way there Whoa-oh, George Lucas' luscious hair-air
  21. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Thanks to Erkki's recommendation I took hold of this and the first mission at least is surprisingly good fun (so thanks Erkki!) Kinda reminds me of the Quantum Leap episode "The Last Gunfighter", which was about a pair of old gunslingers and the veracity of the adventure stories they'd been telling. That's not on YouTube but this odd homage is...
  22. Reading about Games

I heard that Spartacus is active on the Three Moves Ahead boards
  23. Artist for hire
