What if for one day a year, everybody's forum name was changed to that of a country, city, or geographical feature? Maybe this already happens on geography websites. Or maybe it doesn't because it would amount to the impersonation of other forum members.

Ah right, OK. From the FAQ and Mission pages I thought OGR might not credit authors in order to keep the focus on The Facts, but I see that's not explicitly stated. Just my assumed implication.

Interesting. I wonder if you were thinking of SOMA by the Amnesia devs, Mington? That's very sci-fi horror and still a WIP. Anyway, I don't suppose it's unreasonable to point out that Creative Assembly haven't got any sort of track record for producing first person or survival horror games. Although Viking: Battle for Asgard didn't turn out too badly.

It's not unreasonable to insist that a certain style and tone is maintained, and of course you are justified in your desire to ensure that candidates are able to supply you with good copy. I imagine that the trouble you'll have is identifying people who want to contribute now that the OGR zeitgeist is dying down a little: folk that'll be in it for a longer haul and, presumably, willing to have their work go uncredited. That might be balanced out by the prospect of payment in kind (or payment for really reals if the ads / referrals / commissions work out well).

Maybe take a look at your keyboard locale settings, Blambo, if it's coming out with C, F, K and U when you type in A, G, R, S or T

GFWL has picked tonight to hate my computer with renewed intensity and GTA IV has chosen this session to require revalidation and reacquisition of 111 files. I see the Steam forum for GTA IV is overflowing with other people who cannot get past the Black Screen of Loading. Please, world government, make Rockstar remove GFWL DRM from Grand Theft Auto IV forever. Please.
