  3. Life

    @igndotcom
  4. The DayZ thread of TEAMWORK and STORIES

Don't think of it as playing a game. Think of it as front row tickets to THE game. http://www.worldtimeserver.com/convert_time_in_US-CA.aspx?y=2014&mo=3&d=1&h=11&mn=0 I really hope Snow turns up on Saturday.
  5. I Had A Random Thought...

And there's the pitch! Come on Synth, be the change you want to see in the world...
  6. Be sure to listen to the very, very end. Ringtone worthy. Please someone put it on Vanaman's phone
  7. Yep, that part's pretty crazy. Presumably Nintendo already knows how many DS's will be impacted.
  8. Idle Thumbs DayZ Server!

Regarding server cost. These forums have remained proudly ad-free since always. But how about some optional electronic retail affiliate links and such?
  9. ObjectiveGameReviews.com - A Subtle Journey of Discovery

The contrast in tone between Obj.com and Obj.Twitter is just ~excellent~
  10. Idle Thumbs 147: The Titan Falls

The Most Dangerous Game sounds like it'll be a riot. I got excited at the thought of a third faction, the Idle Thumbs Readers Wolf Pack, a co-ordinated squad of five who have access to a 5 minute delayed stream of both Olly and Sean's progress, but must handicap themselves by each broadcasting their location into proximity voice chat with a loop of Chris singing "Games, video games, video games, video gaaaaames" which would be particularly frightening as they close in on our hosts' locations. Are Olly's posts part of some sort of net-wide Helvetiva / Arial font war?
  11. Idle Thumbs 147: The Titan Falls

I haven't listened to it yet but is The Change here already? Excitement. Thought that wasn't until episode 150.
  12. Games giveaway

So ist! Have I sent you a Friendship on the Chance that one day we will be on the Game together, with a Mind to play together, and the same Platz, and with those Characters on the same Stage also.
  13. I'm sensing that the Ombudsman is actually pregnant.
  14. Games giveaway

I want someone to take War in the North so I have someone to ramble through it with. What a Billy I am.
  15. Titanfall

Well, in that case I suppose New Trusty might not be such a bad thing...
  16. That's why he's not in Campo. No challenge. For babies. Oh, and it's called Silent Ninja Rolling Down a Hill: Gone Homecoming.
  17. Bioshock Finite: Irrational Games shuts down

Mobygames says he left even earlier than that, in 2009. BioShock 2 shipped in February 2010. Four other ex-Irrationals joined him at Blue Manchu and they went and did Card Hunter.
  18. Titanfall

Ol' Trusty won't let you down.
  19. Life

I had that too, when my mother forwarded me an XKCD comic by email.
  20. Games giveaway

I come bearing a spare code for the beautiful Pid
  21. Bioshock Finite: Irrational Games shuts down

Yeah I was wondering about this too, whether contractual or not, agreed during Infinite's development or something that came about post-release as a result of discussions about sales and the studio's future.
  22. New people: Read this, say hi.

Ah! Not the first time, in fact. If you want to, you can change your forum display name in the user control panel. Or ensure that your forum avatar is in homage to that of Twig. Or none of the above. As you wish.
  23. 3 questions for those of you who work in the Industry

How long do people tend to stay within the video game industry these days?
  24. Feminism

Yes, you're right, I should have spoilered that post (now edited in). And for context I should have indicated that the general tone of the article was not table flipping rage but closer to disappointment at select aspects. Also I should have not succeeded in accidentally irking you again, Ben. Again! Please accept my apologies. Glad to hear that the author's interpretation is not universally shared, great news for a progressive Lego!
