  1. ObjectiveGameReviews.com - A Subtle Journey of Discovery

Say what you like, postmodernism is still rooted in modernist values. One way or another, these guys are still playing for your team, Tycho.
  2. Free to play: The Movie

Does that make South Park gratuit or merely gratuitous?
  3. Thanks very much for that article, Bjorn, fascinating. On the subjects of Spelunky and speedruns (and to continue the cross-pollination of pods between the two sites), Giant Bomb's Patrick 'The Other Scoops' Klepeck talked to Speedlunker and high score record holder Bananasaurus Rex the other day: http://www.giantbomb.com/podcasts/it-s-never-enough-for-bananasaurus-rex/1600-783 (why don't mobile browsers make copy pasting links more straightforward?)
  4. Sonic & Allstars Racing Transformed

Hey, let's have a Racing Thumbsformed night again soon! Loads of us have it, and I assume loads of us don't hate good games.
  5. Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)

Should have blown up those spikes. I'm sure many of us can say that after today's run. Should have blown 'em up.
  6. Life

If you follow a variation of the little endian calendar standard (DD-MM-YY) then it's been pie month for a good two weeks now. Get eating!
  7. Free to play: The Movie

Mine was complimentary. I guess that subscription to Steam Prime really came through.
  8. I Had A Random Thought...

I just wanted to make a note that, for the record, and contrary to any suggestion given by recent forum activity, I am not inebriated, but have merely consumed one quart of a liter of 6.6% ABV Belgian bier over the course of half an hour to forty minutes, between one and two hours ago, everything is fine, and I hope that each and every one of you has a pleasant and, more importantly, a worthwhile weekend, if not immediately then certainly in the medium to very long term. Please don't forget to support your local run-on sentence. Exuberance
  9. Life

Torpor? It's employee shorthand for a certain science fiction publisher's web database. Rodi has been logged in for five years straight after a misinterpreted Valve ARG led him there.
  10. Reckon they're making it compatible with insanely specced out multi-monitor setups? Niiiiiice!
  11. Free to play: The Movie

    Ha ha! Good one Gabe.
  12. General Video Game Deals Thread

I'm having trouble fathoming how that is still actually Spelunky. But it is. It is.
  13. The DayZ thread of TEAMWORK and STORIES

Speaking of which, there is in fact at least one DayZ "clan" of medics who specialize in bringing medical aid to downed participants. They have a strict code of conduct when it comes to making contact with active combatants. Trusted Medics of the Wasteland's Rules of Engagement (One of their members has written up some pretty comprehensive Steam Guides on food, medical supplies, energy use and that sort of thing)
  14. Life

    Also Half-Life 3. (Hi Rodi!)
  15. General Video Game Deals Thread

    About $7.50 during a sale
  16. The phrase "No water is available at this location" doesn't exactly cpnvince me of the wisdom of staying in a fire lookout tower for recreational purposes. Also really hoping for Pokémon in that curated experience of a procedurally generated forest.
  17. Please make a Wuthering Heights mod pack called "Heathstone".
  18. Gone Home prequel. I hope Remo isn't feeling too FWOSTy about the soundtrack.
  19. Avatar froth enabled. INITIATE FROTHING
  20. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

Congrats Nick! (loving Steve's "don't forget how to walk" face)
  21. What's With This One Guard in A Link to the Past

His continued devotion to guarding the wall is inspirational.
