I think it could be a good idea if we organised a Left4Dead1 night or something, just for old times sake... I fancy another Versus on No Mercy... it's been ages!

I havent found a torrent link for it yet... But, I'd be very interested in trying this map... It kid of fizzled out last night unfortunately.. .Shame..

I tried the Spec Ops mode - its good, but I aint playing with no randoms (ooh! Double Negative!) 'cos they all seem to be tw*ts on MW2... Is MW1 worth me shelling out for? Is the single player good on that one? Is it longer then MW2 is?

I have just installed the City17 map onto L4D2 as well. If any Thumbs want a game, message me when I've got Steam on!

INCREDIBLY off topic but... MW2 singleplayer is really good, but has the length of a hamster on a cold winters day...

Looking forward to a good game tonight. I havent played L4D2 for a few weeks now - Think it was getting a bit stale. Are we choosing teams rather than random? If so, how do we do that?

The only thing that keeps me away from consoles (apart from the dumbing down of their games) is the lack of mouse and keypad. I just cant imagine a fps without being able to use a mouse. I played Halo3 on the XBOX when it came out, and having to use a gamepad just ruined it for me, mate... Why cant they just get a mouse that can be added in and is incorporated into the game? I couldnt give a monkeys about 'motion controllers' and stuff, but directional controllers are useless at making that snap headshot!

Crumbs - and I thought I had the lowest spec PC amongst us all! What are you running Wrestle, a Casio calc?

Seeing as sometimes we mention BC2 on this thread, I have put a suggestion forward to be mulled over / massacred on the BC2 thread: A new multiplayer game (for the times when left for lobby gets too much) I'd be interested to know what everyone thinks of this and whether it could be a go-er? Pilgers.

Hello there everyone. Well, since there has been talk here there and everywhere about improving the communication lines in games, and making it more fun for everyone, what about taking that one step further and implementing 'squad tactics' in Bad Company 2? What I mean is, we all get on Skype, we get into our squad (or pan-squad if necessary) and actually coordinate who we are going to be, and how we are going to play the game. It could be interesting to move through a map rather than a single bloke or couple of blokes with no coordination, but as an actual squad of two snipers, a medic, an engineer, and three or four assault guys, for instance, covering each other and providing the necessary artillery / medical / fire cover required to reach the objective... What does everyone think? Is it a non-starter or could this be a way forward at times?

Whats your spec Wrestle? BC2 isnt really that intensive. I can run it very well on a E8400 clocked at 4ghz, 4gb of 800mhz DDR2 and a 4850... I have max details and stuff, but my res is only 1280 by 1024...

I gotta say that was of the gaming highlights of this year so far, hands down... That was just about the most surreal moment I've ever had!

I wasn't too sure about the Skype at first, I'll be honest, but yeah, I'm willing to give the all speak the benefit and give it a try - perhaps it'll be that little injection that the game needs? I'm happy to look at pre-set teams as well, although I do feel sorry for the poor saps who get me on their team... Overall - Im in support of the motion being passed by my honourable and learned friend, Sir Armchair General... Looking forward to next week's play - although we are back to BF2 by then, no?

Ok... Is anyone else slightly shellshocked by the fact that one of the original Left4Dead foursome actually dies in The Passing DLC released for L4D2 in a short while??? Or am I just insane...
