I've found 5 dungeons so far but only one record I'll help mine some cobble if I get on today. I used up my massive stores making the pavers for that dungeon. If anybody has any other specific requests while I'm digging around let me know.

yeah it's SE from the spawn.

the first dungeon from the first NES zelda game. looks like shit from the ground but it's not bad from the sky. it's out by the Link statue if you want to take a look

more like "raw or cooked ham steaks?"

they work until you try to get out, when they kill you.

since I guess some people might not know, you can "refresh" a tool by throwing it on the ground (q) and picking it back up. damage repaired! only works in mp.

Idle Thumbs 51: Burnin' Down the Wolfman [Now with Video!]

do you have a fucking rainbow of unicorns on your tv? I NEED TO DO THIS NOW -
I actually do recommend playing Call of Pripyat first if you haven't played any of the others. It's stable, balanced, and a little easier to figure out from scratch. It's also a very good game.

The Idle Thumbs Podcast Episode 2: Scoops Horn

Ha, I had the same reaction as Chris when playing Call of Pripyat. The guy pulled out his gun to kill himself and I mashed the 1 button a bunch of times real quick to get my knife out and stabbed him before he got a shot off. The knife is hilariously powerful in this game. I've stopped trying to shoot dogs and boars and instead go knife commando on them. It's cheaper to buy (or find) bandages to stop bleeding than ammo for picking them off from afar. -

I just finished listening. Thanks guys! And thanks for not making a last episode that devolved into a prolonged weep-fest. I was laughing so hard at the Gold Gone Game Gone Jeff JeffGone Gold Gone Jeff part i had to pause it several times. Love you guys, good luck Nick. -

Steve Gaynor has been playing Way of the Samurai 3 and that series is very "Groundhog Day-ish" in that it's short with exponential permutations. Worth checking out anyway. Maybe he'll talk about it in a randomcast because he seemed to like it. -

Please tell me I'm not reading too much into Jake's comments after the closing song. Also Jake, yes Cosmos is pretty rad even without the autotuning. Not a sunrise, but a galaxyrise. -
Oh man, the best thumb song and worst thumb news the podcast is the best part of my workweek and I'll miss it dearly. Good luck Nick edit: that was supposed to be a frown but fuck it I'm not changing it.

Idle Thumbs 47: The Lord of the Donk

I enjoy that I am the same age as you and THIS is the crap that is taking up my memory real estate. "THIS" being retarded scifi minutia of course. -

I used to live near a store that was like this. Shopping there was actually a pleasure, it was bizarre. Friendly, helpful people who remembered my name and saved pre-order bonuses for me even if I didn't pre-order. I miss those guys. More recently I naively went to buy a copy of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising at the store near my work and the Hot Topic reject behind the counter literally laughed at me. "You didn't preorder? Sorry buddy! hahaha!" I felt really old right then, a clerk 12 years younger than me laughing me out of her store. You have to love that a store can have such a grip on an entire market that they can get away with that kind of customer abuse and still be profitable. I ended up finding a copy at the local Best Buy because the stockers that work there are too lazy and had an unopened box in the back, two days after street date. I'll take lazy over belligerent, I guess. Unfortunately I'm one of those retards that's going to NEED Modern Warfare 2 at midnight so I'll be standing outside with the rest of the filth, but after that, no more. I'm done with buying games at brick-and-mortar locations. What a shame. -
