I've been playing for about an hour, and having a good time. I especially like the ability to send your pet to town to sell loot. And now that the L4D2 demo has been delayed, I'll be playing it for a good chunk of this afternoon.

I'm down for killing/being zombies. GTA4 can suck it.

True, but Chris has said that it's not really the format he wants. The VOIP latency and inability to read body language makes it hard to be casual and conversational as all being in the same room.

The demo came out on PSN a little while ago, but it kind of throws you into a later quest with minimal explanation of the game mechanics. Fortunately, Giant Bomb did a Quick Look of it, which happens to be a much better demo of the game than the demo that the demo demoed... Sorry, my brain froze for a second there. Anyway, seems like I'll be dusting off my PSP in about a month, because it looks awesome.

Improved AI director (including minor map randomization), new modes, new infected, new weapons, upgraded Source engine, dismemberment... There's probably more that I can't recall right now.

I was getting terrible lag, too. It was to the point where I was skipping randomly around the area and half my button presses were about 5 seconds late. I did a quick Google search, and it looks like people are having similar problems on both Xbox and PS3. And so, the trend of broken online from big releases continues...

Oh, yeah. It's more of an invitation to anyone who wants some Borderlands co-op than to one specific person.

Nah, that's almost required. Some of the weapons are rare enough that I sisn't get the trophy for them even after three playthroughs. Or it could just be that I'm a whore, too.

I just worked through the rationalization to buy them. I got 300 points for free due to a Visa promotion last month, which means that I'm really just paying 20 points (25 cents) for an awesome wizard outfit! *BLOOP* Justification unlocked!

Yeah, that should work. I was a bit confused because the stealth mission at the beginning gives you the tutorial prompt to round a corner while still in cover, but I think it has to do with the angle of the corner... strange.

While it did last a little too long, my main disappointment was right after the fight finished.

I was playing with a couple friends on Normal, and we died on our last try right at the end. It was such a good time that none of use cared. Hey, at least they included a difficulty below Easy, right?

XBL now has a wizard costume and hat available for avatars. As much as I loath paying money for pretend bullshit, I'm having a hard time resisting this...

If you haven't played multiplayer yet, I would suggest giving it a try. It has some fun game modes, and even the standard deathmatch is a nice change of pace from the usual due to the platforming elements that carry over. Co-op's great, too.

I jumped a bit and swore at the game when that happened. Great placement of the camera for effect.

They're okay. The first one is the better of the two. The final boss on the second one is a bunch of bullshit.
