I love this hatred the most.

The same thing happened to me. Also, the "Lost" island. I spent a lot of time exploring the area because I didn't think it would be touched during any of the missions (no locations to discover), but then a mission sent me there and kind of ruined it for me.

I've been playing around with it a little. The tutorial is a pain to get through for someone who already knows a bit of programming. I had one flash of inspiration, and then got distracted by other games after I had made it. In order to share games, you and your friend must exchange Friend Codes, and then both connect to Nintendo WFC to actually register as friends. You can store up to two games online.

OH SHIT To go to sleep or listen to Thumbs... What a dilemma. -
There are 7 agency missions, and #7 starts directly after #6. I don't think your completion percentage will be that high, comparatively. There are literally thousands of separate things that make up the 100%, and while missions are bigger than the others, they're still pretty small. I broke 50% completion around 36 hours of play. If I remember correctly, that was all story and faction missions, 10 challenges, 70-something fully complete locations, a little over half of the faction items, and whatever other random destroyed and collected objects I had done at the time.

Still in beta, but it's been open for a while. I joined about a year ago, although I've barely played.
-
But only in Soviet Russia.

I enjoyed the achievement names, as well. Out of all the referential achievements in games, I never expected that Red Dwarf would get one, much less more than one.

Not really. When you get to the second-to-last mission, you'll have to choose a faction to help you, but they don't do anything beyond sending you support during the mission. You then get immediately sent on the final mission, after which the game dumps you back on the island in "Mercenary Mode," and anything you didn't get around to finishing is available to you. The actual story arc is over very quickly. I did a number of side missions and sabotages, and although the missions require chaos to unlock, the next one was always available due to the amount of screwing around I did. Also, best ending sequence ever:
-
So I decided to just finish up the story missions to get them out of the way and off of my map, and holy crap. Despite spending a large amount of time screwing around, I had 38.8% completion. This is gonna take a while.

The XBLA version incorporates Multiwinia (hence the +). Give it a few games. I used to play the real game with friends, and it takes a little time to get used to the mechanics and strategy involved. It's also a lot better when playing against actual people. I've also got it, and would love to play every once in a while.

I'd say it would be appropriate to assume that most people would do that, but not all. There wasn't any more guidance than "destroy all three," and it didn't lock you into following a linear path in order to reach them all. It just really stood out because the game is incredibly open by nature. There was even a part in the very first mission that reinforced this. When you grapple to the helicopter to airlift to the final memory card, the intent is that you will hang from the vehicle as is passes over, taking out dudes as you go along. I accidentally pressed the "Drop" button, but instead of the game saying, "Hey, what the hell are you doing? Get back here!" and resetting me, the female character just says, "Oh, so you want to do it your way? Fine with me, but try not to get killed," and I go about my merry way.

Having a lot of fun so far. Anyone else found the Mile High Club? Unfortunately, I found a rather egregious programming error (or possibly bug). There's a mission you do for the Ular that has you destroying satellites. There are three of them, two near the base entrance, and one a little farther along. After you destroy the three, it turns out there's a secret fourth satellite that launches, so you have to get a plane and destroy the rocket before it reaches orbit. The problem is that the developers seemed to have decided that every single player in the world would destroy the satellites in a similar order: the two close ones, then the far one. I destroyed a close one and then the far one, and triggered the fourth satellite launch before I had taken out the first three. Because of that, I couldn't destroy the final satellite in time and failed the mission. Lame. EDIT: Restarted from a checkpoint, and it put me in the mission with the three satellites down and the fourth launching, so at least I didn't have to do the whole thing over again.

This wasn't lame? BKbXl53z0Iw Use enemy slow ability. Use attack buff ability. Use attack. Hooray for you. It didn't require any strategy, and it barely had any risk. As long as you used the three abilities in that order, you won. Doing them out of order either made the fight take a few seconds longer or (if you were unlucky/bad at pattern recognition) killed you and made you load, after which I'd hope that you could figure it out the second time around.
-
I had fun with the first one, but the second was just kind of bland. And it had one of the lamest final boss battles of all time. I was looking forward to seeing how subsequent games played out, but lost interest after so much time passed.

Any time I'm typing, I'm not moving or killing things. That's generally bad in a multiplayer game. I'd rather play silently than give someone a chance to type-kill me.

The Germantown Police HQ. It's a hideout filled with super mutants and various gory bits of people. If you find Big Town, you can get a quest to stop super mutant attacks originating from Germantown.
-
If I remember correctly, you should only have to talk to the injured guy. You'll get a dialog option to give him a medkit (as long as you have one in your inventory) or leave him alone.
-
Would you really consider it a change in dialog, though? The english translation of the PC version was done by a fan, not anyone affiliated with the game, right?
-
HOLY SHIT DARWINIA+. That is, Darwinia+ is a great game with barely anybody playing it, so some one should do that.

Shatter's a great game, but whoever told you that it was some sort of rhythm/music puzzle game is crazy. It has great music in it, but is otherwise just a current-gen re-imagining of Breakout/Arkanoid. -
Downloading the trial now. I'll see how the controls are; if they're too awkward, I'll stick with the PC version.
-
I get paid on Friday, after which games shall be acquired. I've spent a few hours on the PC version, so I'm excited to be able to play it on a console, where it seems like it belongs. It would have been nice to keep the 16-bit graphic style, but the revamped art looks pretty cool too.

Damn, you people are making me feel old. You played Red/Blue when you were 8? I just started high school when that game came out. Anyway, playing SoulSilver (as Silver is my favorite iteration of the entire series), and I would definitely recommend it to those who lost interest after the GameBoy days. That's exactly what happened to me, but this has been keeping my attention so far. And, while I won't argue the usefulness of cheating the Pokewalker, I will say that an hour in my tumble drier gave me a little over 5000 steps the other day.

I saw this as "The rusty blade surprisingly missed major arteries and the boy's head was removed successfully."
