This is he best I could muster this week! It looked nicer on the plate the might before. Spicy meatballs with guacamole, and homemade oven wedges and (good shop bought) hummus with sumac pitta crisps. I also had salad whilst my housemates polished off the wedges. Remains for lunch:

I got 1404 yesterday. I am really loving it so far. I can see why Chris was in love with the visual. Great move having the tutorial start off by showing you a full, vibrant city before dumping you onto your own island. Best fun I've had with supply chains in a long time.

I made baked eggs for long weekend brunch. Nomnom. I don't like bread, so I had some tasty crackers with.

I am loving this game. Narrative is usually just icing in the cake for me, so the lack thereof isn't a huge turn off for me. I do find myself constantly delighted when something new appears.

Zafehouse is part of an indie royal bundle at the moment. Pretty nice one too.

I embargoed my thesis so nobody had to pretend to care to read it:P horrific things. I went to work in industry and th back to academia and now that I'm back in industry I want to stay here. Doing a good bloody job and writing a short report on it beats scrambling for funding and waiting months for papers any day for me.

I had to get past a level in mario for my housemates two nieces last night. They stood beside me telling me what to do. I had to tell them I've been playing mario a lot longer than them. The 3D was pretty snazzy looking.
